I’ve learned now, that you are far more than that. I love the secretizim and goose chases, and meditating expeditions; all very interesting!

I didn't know if this was like what Ford did and offered a beadlock wheel with a different ring that wasn't beadlock and you had to buy the beadlock ring. Yeah installing the beadlock ring made them no go for dot, but it was an option for that OEM wheel.

That would have been cool, but to my knowledge no such thing exists for these or for the 16” ones that came on Tacoma Pros.

Glad you enjoy! Much of what I say here is true, but so is much of what I don’t say.

In my recent journeys on replacing my rims, I’m finding that the 16” size is limited in selection compared to 17”. The inner bore seems important at 106mm. Found some nice 16”, but the bore is 108mm. Is this going to make the truck wobble?

Depends on if the wheel is lug centric or not. To be on the safe side get some hub centric rings from 108 to 106.

I've done my part to help your investment and recycled 4 of those wheels at about $20 a pop. I had em on my 03 taco and was never a fan of em.
Selling em can be hot or cold. The only people that will offer you any thing of value for em are the few people that like em. I think most are in my camp and dont like em on first gen tacos or tundras. However they actually look nice on some second gen tacos. Ive seen two locals pull off that look.

You're no more popular on TW than I am. ;)

My kmc induros are 108mm bore and they seem fine. Been running em for a year now.

I wasn’t popular until being discovered for having sexy hands, then everyone wanted me. @because_wumbo-truck

You have not spacer to close the gap?

Any one have pics of these spacers?

@Darkness has the same wheels and so does someone else. I wonder if they did anything to account for the 2mm difference in bore and hub.

Picked these up on the cheap on Craigslist. Guy cut the tires to remove the tpms (not that it matters, tires are trash anyways).

still torn on the rock warriors or these or the darker split spokes. Ugh.

WTH? That's a new one. Probably went something like this: "Why break the bead when I have this sawzall just sitting here? Hold my beer..."

Hey guys, new here and just picked up my first Tundra SR5 4x4 a few days ago and haven't really seen too many with FJ 17's.
So I needed tires anyway so I did the upgrade yesterday with 285/70/17.

Do you have a pic of said "starfish" wheels? I think I know, but would like to confirm which ones you are referring to.

20" inch OEM enkei xsp rims. I like them but some people find them to blingy. The other problem is they are becoming impossible to find. I've been searching for one to use as a spare and I've only been able to find 2 sets total anywhere and they were both over 1200 for a set if just rims...Screenshot_20200107-132719.jpg
