I painted the center caps. The powder coat shop sold me a can of industrial touch up that is a near perfect match. I popped out the emblems and then did a bunch of light coats. I'm sure any off the shelf quality paint would work.

My cc is tapped out this month, so I'll have to pass on the offer. Thanks for the opportunity though!

If they don't feel secure on it they won't use it. The ramp needs to have good grip and not be too steep. Other than that it's just training. Hopefully the angle will be low enough for them to get into the bed of the truck, otherwise this will be going back and I'll just build something.

As long as I've wanted a house, I wanted to build furniture. A dining table, coffee table, a few fish tank stands, book shelves, nothing crazy. I've had drills, a hypoid saw and a jigsaw forever but those always left me wanting precision. I got a few deals on Black Friday. Once the weather clears up I'll start building stuff.

Might build a table to mount this to. Might just get the Bosch table instead. I need to save space in the garage.
    20191207_193817.jpg

I know, I know, everybody hates Dewalt. I have had a Dewalt reciprocating saw for 19 years that I've put through more hell than you can imagine and it still works, it's been submerged in sewage and still works. That won my respect, besides this was $299. All the reviews say it's very good, only the plastic miter gauge gets complaints and that's easily remedied.

I have but one regret in life. That is not taking woodworking back in High School. There's something magical about taking pieces of wood and making a piece of furniture or other item that can last hundreds of years and be enjoyed by many people.

3 things, great looking boots 1st of all!

2nd, I just bought my first pair and wanting to know how I should be taking care of them. I’ve heard Bickmore stuff is good, but I don’t know what I’m doing. Mind giving a new boot owner the run down?

3rd, I haven’t seen any off topic thread about cowboy boots. Know of one? If not was gonna start one

    Umm...they are nice windows
But last year window world quoted me 4800 for the same windows that Andersen quoted at 22K. They were nicer but not 17K nice.
Long term it might be worth it
    But for me, it wasn't.

I wanted a little extra light for those evening off road or country driving conditions but I didn't want large squadrons. I live in the valley and we also get full blown soup fog, you can't see 10ft in front of your truck out where I live. Going to try and pop these suckers somewhere low and inconspicuous. I hooked up to the battery to test them out earlier and I'm really impressed what 4 tiny LEDs can dish out

Nope, I’ve been on here since summer of 2017, check in daily, and never seen a boot thread. Good restraint asking first. Go ahead and start one. I know a likely contributor who may also be able to point you in the right direction for taking care of your boots is AliPerez. I’ll figure out his forum name and edit this post to call him over here. Dude like boots and has some good ones.

That Bosch router is great. It's one of 4 routers that I own. Have 1 Craftsman mounted in a table that I built. I'll see if I can post a pic of it. Absolutely nothing wrong with that DeWalt tablesaw either. Great find at that price.
