So the build begins, it will be a slow and steady process......

    Ordered:
    Yokohama 35x12.5-18 Geolander M/T G003
Black Rhino Barstow Wheels 18x9.5 +12 offset
Undecided on Matte Black or Matte Bronze.
The Matte Black are on back order and expect them to be in by December.
I'm just not sure how the Matte Bronze will look on the QuickSand TRD.

    Opinions are welcome!!!

    Where it begins...
At this point I’ve done the tint matched all around and the stubby antennae.

The matte black methods would be perfect!

The time-lime on this build is a little off as I’ve already made decision on wheels and tires and had them installed.

Went with the matte black Wheels.
Just wasn’t sure if that bronze was going to work with the quicksand. The black would def work.

Also, went with 295/70 R18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

I’m still getting some rubbing on front wheel well, but 2” ReadyLIFT kit just came in and I’m hoping to install by Christmas.

Fortunately, got into truck yesterday evening and AC started working as it should. I’m hesitant about switching it over to defrost at all now.

At least until after the lift kit is installed....

Like the truck and wheels! Good choice. I don't think the rub will go away with more lift. Some trimming or heat gunning the front wheel liners should do the trick. It is more about wheel offset than lift.

I think you’re spot on Shaggie. I’m ready for the heat treatment if it doesn’t clear. Not opposed to the BMC but would prefer if all I need to do is the heat gun up front.

I'm about to do a BMC to my truck as well if you do one can you post pics here ? I have a 6" lift and trying to stuff a 22x12 -44 with 35s in there and may also do the bumper spacer option. these are what I'm looking at.

Unfortunately, pics will have to wait until tomorrow. Got late and got dark. I can tell you that I love the stance. Total lift is 4”. It’s not crazy high at all but it looks just right to me. Any higher and I think the wife would have hated it.
Very balanced. I will likely go to 35x12.50s down the road but for now the 295/70s look great.

    Now what to mod next.....

I was thinking about the bronze in the same style. Would have looked good, but I’m glad I went with the black.

Yeah, I also like the 'high yeller' [yellow] looking bronze rims with the quicksand, so I see where you're going there.

However, my preference is to stick to black and quicksand, as my color theme [got the stuff, but not putting it on and changing it out 'til June] for my truck.

    I like these rims:

Contemplating next mod and torn between audio upgrade or steps sliders.
Wife is insisting on the steps because she’s having some challenge getting in and out of the truck.
Based on that, pretty safe bet steps are next.

Open to suggestions and please post pics so I can see what the look is like. I’m leaning towards the Tyger steps now because I prefer the tighter look to the body.
