Freaking beautiful man. Did you polish and wax with it? Or just use to spread the wax? What pads? It looks amazing

Waxaddict has a large lineup of paste waxes that I'm sure would be amazing. But damn, they are expensive... I would like to try the quartz one day if I happen to get some disposable cash

Just used it to spread the wax. I used a red Griots waxing pad. I just said yesterday that I didn’t care for liquid wax, but I felt it would work better with the DA. I think it turned out great.

I definitely recommend Shine Supply Cherry Wax. It contains 30% silica, and is supposed to protect for four months minimum. (Of course I won’t leave it on there that long....)

It looks and works very similar to Jescar Powerlock, but it leaves a nicer finish, and has a very slick feel to it.

Yes, their waxes are really expensive, but a little bit goes a long way, so a jar should last you years. They’re also really good about sending samples with orders. If you were to order some Tyre Feeder or other items, they’ll likely include some. I think most of the members who’ve ordered from there have gotten samples. You can even request a sample of something in your order notes, and they are generally very accommodating.

I only tried Vortex because of a sample they sent me with another order. I actually went ahead and ordered the discounted version they had yesterday and apparently got the past one. I paid $104.00 for it after our forum discount, shipping included. The sample they’d sent was a little bigger than a jar of Carmex, and I did my Tundra with less than half of it. Even just the small amount I used was too much according to Richard.

You guys think the Adams strip wash or the iron x will remove my TUF Shine coating on my tires if they catch a drip? Getting ready to prep for paint sealant and don’t want to have to redo the tires! Plan is to do everything at a self serve car wash that way I can get out of the sun. Thinking I better grab some giant garbage bags to cover the tires with just Incase...very impressed with the TUF shine so far, it has rained literally everyday since application and they still look the same.

A drip of Iron X will not remove the tire coating/dressing. I doubt the Adams strip wash will do anything to the coating. You can always touch it up after your prep work. However if you want peace of mind wrap them in plastic bags.

I haven't used the Tuf Shine but I have used Optimum's version and its damn near impossible to remove. I wanted to remove it and re coat my tires and I could not get the coating off. So I think you'll be just fine, and I don't think you could remove that stuff easily even if you tried.

First experiment today. I added 1 drop of sio2 to about 6 ounces of Beadmaker. It didn’t go well. It made the Beadmaker very grabby, and very streaky. Once it sat a while, it did have some of the slickness of Beadmaker, but not nearly as much.
After a few hours, I poured some water on it, and it’s super hydrophobic, but I don’t think I’d recommend it. I had to buff way too much to get the streaks out, and I don’t like running the paint that much.

Good to know. Is beadmaker a polymer sealant? I'm betting the sio2 will mix and work better with something already containing sio2, like reload or ech2o. I'd say hydro2 too but that's a whole different animal in my mine because of how its activated with water spraying on it. What other " elements " are there? I know sio2, carnauba and I think " ceramic" ?
Beadmaker seems to be in a class of it's own. In its makeup, application styles, versatility, shine and obviously the slickness that nothing comes even close too.

Yes, it’s polymer based. I’m guessing whatever is used in its production just doesn’t react well with sio2. It does seem like it will protect well, it’s just a PITA to apply with sio2 included. I only used one drop in 6 ounces, and it completely changed the properties.

You covered all the Elements. I’m betting that adding it to the ech20 and Reload mix will make it more like the Adams Waterless Wash. That’s definitely the impression I got from it.

I have some of the XP4 also. I’m hesitant to try. The streaks are still on my hood from the last experiment.

Richard is getting the black Friday sale set up. I believe the sale starts at 7am UK time. So midnight my time. Hopefully there is stuff still available when I wake up at 9.

It was up and working earlier today when I was adding some stuff to my cart.

Black Friday stuff showed up today.

Rest of the elements, a few colors and smells, a few items I've wanted to try plus a couple jars of wax. The new one and number 18.

    From Waxaddict's Facebook.

Coming Soon! A new Ceramic additive in the Elements range specifically designed to be sprayed as a hands free wet coating.

Just spray via a foam lance for instant protection and extreme gloss that can last for up to 3 months! This truly is a real alternative to hand applied last stage protection.

Samples will be available to Waxclub members before launch.

    More TBA soon.

Sounds like Hydro2 type product to me

Instead of sending me the 5L jug Richard is sending a 500ml super concentrate that makes 5L's.

That was all I've paid so far. I offered to pay more to cover the cost of the 5L but he said I should be good since he is sending the super concentrated stuff.

I also bought a tyre feeder for my brother and a few air freshener / interior detailer to try.
