    See fine print
Np. Wish the cutoff is sharper but honestly even tho it has stray light that light is not intense. Most of the beam is focused on the ground. Just gives me a reason to punt more lights when I need to light up my path!

    @Baja Designs
I'm dumb so please bear with me.
If I purchase the SAE 447714 "kit" does it come complete with SAE 257815 and FPK 447110?
I've been looking for pictures of what's included but have only been able to find pictures of just the box opened showing off the lights with the trim attached.
This is for the just in case I don't want to use them in the original fog light location will I be able to turn them back into regular squadron lights?

Wishing the cutoff was better. These seem to have too much glare. I tested with my wife and they are definitely hitting her right in the face in her car. Worried about running these on the street.

Kinda hard to take photos but I pulled my wife’s car up in front of my truck and tested. Pretty damn bright and pretty high. I was running normal squadrons before but never used them on the streets. I bought the SAE version so I could have true fogs but I am back to square 1

447714 doesn’t include the standard squadron mounting brackets. It’s the fog pocket kit for the Tundra

We can always sell you the standard brackets and bezel if needed down the road

The problem with that test is you were trying to see if there's too much glare, so you were looking for it. A better test is drive around and see how often you get flashed, if at all.

My HID projectors are very bright but aimed correctly. If I stare at them it hurts my eyes some but on the road I've never been flashed in the 3 years I've had them.

I think there are a few threads regarding this. I reported back after driving for a few weeks with them on, I have never been flashed. I’m keeping them on moving forward.

I just went to order the SAE version but your site indicates that they are on backorder with no expected restock date. @Baja Designs can you provide any info on a restock before I just go ahead and order the regular Squadron kit?

What’s the process look like attaching these lights? Do you just plug in to the same cable for the stock fogs and have OEM functionality, or do you have to splice wires and run a separate switch into the cab?

You can plug these directly into the OEM wiring with our Plug and Play fog kits. No extra wiring required if you have factory fogs

Baja Designs | SAE Compliance Service Bulletin

In November 2019 a third party made Baja Designs aware that the SAE Squadron was out of compliance with J583 guidelines. We immediately shipped samples to a testing facility for further verification. Our testing discovered that the light was over by 119 candelas on the upward horizontal axis. In more understandable terms, that is the equivalent of 1.19 candles at 10 meters. Our engineering department has been working on a fix for existing customers ensuring their SAE Squadron’s comply. We have developed a lens insert that has been tested and confirmed by Intertek, the global leader in compliance testing, that can be installed into existing products.

Current backorders of our SAE Squadron will ship in 3-4 weeks. Existing customers can either install the insert themselves or contact Baja Designs directly requesting a shipping label. Once we receive the light in-house, our trained technicians will update the SAE Squadron followed by expediting the now compliant Squadron back free of charge.

Please reach out to Baja Designs directly ensuring your SAE Squadron is updated within a timely manner.

It’s not going to be this right? Not feeling that big ol cover over the lens.

Do you guys sell just the wiring to plug into the OEM fog cable? Just don’t need the other parts in your Plug & Play kits and was curious.
