Fold up gas piston front window mod

I want to put a cap on my crewmax. I'd like to take advantage of the full power window. The best option for this seems to be the snugtop gas piston window but unfortunately on the east coast there is no where remotely close to get a Snugtop. I did email them to see if they sell the window separate but am wondering if maybe it would be possible to modify a Leer fold down window to fold up with struts. I don't currently have one so it's a bit hard to brainstorm but am curious if anyone else has ever thought to do this or if someone with a snugtop fold up could take them good picture. The best I can find are these ones.

 

A.R.E. has a tilt down front window.

 

So does Leee but it's not really a fold down, it's not on hinges, it just folds down so you can take it out.

I was going to get the CX HD til I found out it doesn't come with this option. Now I've got my eye on a Snug.

 

My ARE folds down on hinges. I agree that gas pistons and swing up would be more practical. I haven’t looked closely to see if it could be modified to hinge up.
