I figured. I think I’m getting 12v at a stop light. Jumps right up under acceleration

Door handles and impact wrench came in today.

Pulled my vacuum brake boost hose off at the booster for inspection because I can. Looks good. Might pull off the check valve if its easy. Anyone done this before?

Might tackle what looks like a banjo fitting from the manifold back tomorrow and inspect.

My meditations are leading me into vacuum theory. Feeling its time for a visit to the Ukrainian frozen Tundra to visit a long lost friend. She makes the best wood fired Pirogies.

Reading between the lines for a SWAG it appears that mine always sits in the 14-15v range with the engine running.

    14v is the goal.

In other news tried another key fob. Still no program. Truck goes into programming mode, but nothing

There's too types and.it.can be confusing. One means banned.the other is in support for law enforcement. I think the banned line is red.and the LEO line is blue.

Your a tech right? For yota or am I dreaming? You should know, the gauge won’t tell you poppycock other than a close guess. I can get you accurate readings off my scan gaugeII tomorrow morning if you want, but it sounds like the alt might be taking a poopy. I was actually thinking about this today, a service call a few years ago, 4am start, getting into a small town at 6-7am dark AF, started to notice my lights dimming and weird power at the engine and temperature starting to rise, kept driving, kept getting sweaty butthole, finally turned off all lights, radio, heat(after I tried to pull heat off the engine and into the cab to help lower engine temps) and this small town is always loaded with cops ready to pop people flying into the city limits. Nothing this dark morning, I coasted into vatozone, only to discover they don’t open for another hour, across the street shined a O’Reillys, I pulled that lil turd and got another and was on my way to Navajo county jail to fix a garbage disposal in no time(3500 express)

I had a red banned line one time for 3 days. Never could see it cause I was ‘banded’. I then extended my ban for 5 more days just to show the banners who is boss!

I wonder if we could raise support for hand models with a special colored ban? Wonder what color we would get?

I installed a backup camera today and hooked it up to my Pioneer deck. The only thing I can’t figure out is where the Reverse Signal Wire is. Other threads don’t seem to be helping First-Gens our very much. But for now, at least I have the wiring run and hooked up and working, but I have to select the camera before it displays on the screen. No auto appear yet :(321E45DF-FEDC-44B6-86FF-911A706510E9.jpg22645799-0B7C-46B1-A70C-7B641CD9988A.jpg

I pulled mine from the trailer connector but the screen I have automatically turns on with a signal from the camera so I didn't need to run it to the cab. Not sure it that's how yours works or not.

My rear view mirror w/ camera arrived today but it'll be closer to Christmas before I have time to work on the install. I'm curious why you ran your line outside the tailgate along the bottom vs running the line inside the tailgate then straight out. And can you tell me the name of the wire holder you used on the tailgate? I think those could come in handy at some point...

That's the hardest part and every one seems to tell you differently. I finally let a pro figure mine out.

But when you press the buttons on the fob the truck doesn’t do it’s confirm lock/unlock thingy? Possibly dead battery on the fob?

The dealer installed ones are wayyy cheaper than factory ones. I priced it out and it’s 120!
