Looking at buying a polished diamondback from their outlet that is purely cosmetic. They said that since everything at the outlet is already boxed and ready to ship, they can't coat it in house.

What are your thoughts on powdercoating it vs linex if I decide to pick it up?

I’m interested. I’m in the same boat, bought a polished one but want it black. Have also thought about vinyl wrap but concerned with durability.

Line X without question. I beat the hell out of mine. Lumber, Xmas trees, cement blocks, kayaks, bags of stone. No scratches and super durable. LineX also is grippy for less slipping. Powdercoat would scratch and look like crap in weeks, and would be slippery.

Line-x They put a similar coating on it when they do theirs and it's sweet.

That’s what I meant. I got the “LineX”-like coating from the DB factory new. Not sure what the brand is but it looks similar to my LineX bed.
