For those of you that have gone from 18” wheels to 17” wheels, did you notice a big difference in on road comfort?

If I go to 17” methods my offset will increase and I do not want them any wider than an 18” method. But if the the ride is significantly better I can consider. Thanks

Probably depends more the the tires, I had 18" P rated tires on my truck, then 18" E rated tires currently 17" E rated tires, the P rated rode the best of the three.

not much difference in sidewall between 18" and 17" for the same tire. roughly 5%.
if you have good aftermarket rims in 18"s I say keep them. Plus a bit more space for the big brakes on the Tundra. Some of those 17's tires weight are super close to the calipers.
I think it's worth it if you jump from 20" to 17" but if you already have 18's, not much gain imo.

Awesome thanks. I agree with your logic. I am replacing my stock tss 20” wheels and suspension with icon. So I’m sure I’ll see a big improvement in ride quality regardless.
