    Hello there,

New 2019 Tundra TRD SR5 owner here. I came from a 2003 Subaru Outback, and I couldn't be happier with the change.

I recently took advantage of buying SDHQ's sliders, and was wanting to design and fabricate a top plate for just the kickout in the rear. Has anyone had experience with a project like this in the past?

I have access to solid modeling programs, and thought it would be easiest to get a mockup of the sliders and design my plate for water jet processing. I'd then get the top plate coated in bed liner, drill and tap holes in the slider for mounting, and be on with my day.

Open to criticism, feedback, or any other helpful input for something like this. Has anyone else thought of doing something similar?

    Thanks,
    Dan
