Right now, I'm running 275/65/20's, but plan on going to 295/65/20s.

Any issues with tss system? I was told not to level by deal because it will void warranty and the tss system (camera) would have to be recalibrated.. so i'm kind of bummed out.. but your truck looks awesome bro!

Yeah, people were saying that at first, and I guess it is true for lifts of a certain height. However, a 3/1 level like I did [2.5 inch lift, I believe] is NO PROBLEM. Never had one issue with TSS. Works like a dream.

I believe techs were initially told that. It's kind of like asking a lawyer for advice: he is going to say, "No" [or tell you to take the most conservative action possible to protect yourself from possible liability].

    Don't worry about it.

Some guys on this forum can tell you more.

P.S. Thanks, I LOVE my Tundra.

Yes, I guess I was one of the few un lucky ones, the TSS on my truck would not work after the lift. The dealership got it running right again a couple days later and took a few hours. Every thing has been fine since

3/1 RC. Most level truck I've ever owned. No rake in front.

    275 55 20 Terra Graps for now.
20x9 wheels. Very close to zero offset.
Wheels by Ultra Motorsports that Toyota puts on the XP models and some other models.

Will go to a 285 or 295 when these wear out.

NO issues what so ever with front grill radar.

I was wondering, did anyone have to do new control arms? I’m getting ready to do mine and heard with 3” in the front you might need new control arms so t dosent rub. Any truth to that?

Ask the guys who know here what is the BEST WAY to level a truck. For example, my understanding is that, over time, spacers are hard on your front end.

Good coils [like Old Man Emu] are supposed to actually improve the ride quality of your truck, while leveling it.

Read some lift threads, observe the forum members who are knowledgable on this and ask them specifically by inserting their user name in the post [like @TundraDude18].

    See build thread below.
What kit did you use for this lift/level? Are you still loving it? How’s ride quality?

Mine are 285/65/20, which is around 34 inches. The little inner plastic piece behind the fog light was removed to prevent rubbing. I just upgraded to a new bumper and no longer have that problem

Nice! This is the look I want and have very similar wheels and tires but just need to lift that front end up a little. I like the 3/1 set. fullsizeoutput_892.jpg

Well as you can see, with the LRT kit mine is pretty leveled front and back. also come with bump stops and shims to keep everything pretty leveled. even the skid plate has spacers with this kit. minimal stress and control arm

Do you have more pics of these items? My skid plate seems to be missing something and wonder if a skid plate spacer would help.

So I recently went with a 3/1 leveling kit, with spacers and blocks. I keep reading that a hard bump can crush the front shocks and a lifted truck should put on bump stop extensions. With all the fantastic trucks on this thread, I was hoping to get some guidance. I'm getting a front end alignment next week.

Looking for a little help. Can anybody tell me if I’m able to do a 3/1 life and still add airbags? Looking to throw a toolbox and auxiliary fuel tank in the back. 2018 1794 crewmax
