    Hello.
I have a 2015 Tundra 5.7. In the morning especially when cold outside it struggles to start. I have recently put in a new battery and all new plugs. There are no codes coming up. There is no issue when driving. I just towed my camper 800 miles round trip with no issues. I am thinking it may be a fuel filter or fuel injectors. Any ideas on diagnosing the issue? Thanks.

Maybe try to prime it a few times before starting it on a cold morning.:notsure: That can give you an idea if the fuel pressure is too low on start up. Turn the key to the on position a few times and let the fuel pump run.

Can you clarify hard start? Is it long crank, sputter, start? Or is it slow, labored cranking and then it catches?

I wake up started. Makes it tough to pee out of the gate though. Have your battery checked.

So broke down and took it in to Toyota. Turns out there is a bulletin on the fuel pump. The warranty on the fuel pump was extended to 96 months or 95k miles. As I am under both Toyota is covering the replacement.

Thank you all for the helpful responses.

Is this an issue with flex fuel engines only or am I thinking of something else?
