im running them with the factory fox suspension and haven’t had any issues. I’m riding at about factory height now, maybe a smidge taller. At full droop my shocks still have some travel left.

Cool. Yeah he's testing that rack out for us. So far seems really pleased with it. Would love to get some sort of rack made for the 2nd and 3rd gen tundras. Your thoughts on that?

I’d love to see more tundra accessories, especially a rear bumper. Currently there’s only like two options out there. From the trails I’ve done so far, this is definitely the most vulnerable for damage.

I think the tundra is an awesome platform with the additional payload, space, power and fuel capacity over the midsize trucks.

Fridge is not yet installed. Long story short I apparently bought the last slide in the country. With it getting close to winter now and the big trip I was gonna do this fall, it’s on the back burner for a bit.

I’ve got the arb wiring kit I was gonna use for fridge power. X2power 27f under the hood. I can get multiple days of run time off the single battery in my Tacoma. I’ll likely pick up a 50-100w solar panel just incase I decide to stay parked for multiple days or theres abnormal conditions where it’s extra hot. I rarely shut my truck off and I’m always on the move so I really don’t see the need for dual batteries.

currently 300+ miles on the base map. It’s been solid so far and quite noticeable. Need a more miles and we’ll see what fuel economy is

Found this thread with a google photo search “Toyota Tundra Habitat” to hopefully find a tundra with a habitat to get an idea of fit and overall look. Was very happy to see your build...identical truck with the topper I am saving for. Great build and super helpful. Just ordered the wireless console charger. Thanks for the leads!

Will do and appreciate the offer! Been contemplating this build for some time as the next phase from our well used 02’ Taco/Flip-pac. Met Mario last year at Expo East and have been sold on their products based on the similarity’s to our smaller rig. Keep on blazing the path...eating it up!

Swapped to a stubby antenna. I never use the radio anyway so now I won’t have it getting beaten on in Forest

OEM power tailgate lock is on the way.

Need to get around to putting in fridge power one of these days and figuring out how i want to secure it. Still debating on in the cab or in the bed.

It’s super easy. Pop off the back of the console, take out some screws, swap it for the one that’s installed, plug it in, put it back together. It’s quick and well worth it

I've seen those, but I'd rather go OEM since it's on the horizon.
