I typically don't have air fresheners in my vehicles. Some irritate my allergies, one even went far enough to cause my eyes to water (not fun when driving). I hate littering, but I chucked that thing out the window because it was my life or the air freshener. BUT, I went blastin some trails with the puppos today. New doggo decided to run through a creek. He ended up hating it, so he probably won't do that again. We dried him off, but we know how wet dogs go. He does like to roll around on the grass and he can get odor-y from a lot of that so I'm looking for something to knock down the scent.

I can't do anything super strong, so cinnamon, "spiced" stuff... things like that are out of the question. I am intrigued by the charcoal bags, but they seem to get mixed reviews. I like the idea of an essential oil diffuser as the oil scents don't bother my allergies, but not sure how durable the car ones are. My home diffuser works well, but some of the plastics are broke; probably from the vapor degrading them. I don't want to keep spending $20 on mini diffusers if they suck.

I tried the air one once and it caused some weird stuff on my windows. I would like something more passive, but I probably should try the fabric one.

Lysol, linen scent, seems to do a good job keeping things smelling neutral w/ no lingering 'scent'.

I'm not a fan of leave in air fresheners, I always seem to get a coating on the inside of the windows w/ those living in the car.
Something you spray in to address a particular 'event', like after a wet dog rides in the car, just seems better IME.

Chemical guys makes a spray leather scent that I love. If you like new leather smell, you'd like their stuff.

This stuff is pretty good. When used as the directions state, the scent is subtle. The directions tell you to open the package and pull the tree out just a little bit. Pull it out a bit more every week or so.
