The bearing on my 2015 Tundra is whining like my 3 year old toddler. The only thing I can find online are remanufactured options except for one that I found from a company I don't recognize (tyr). It looks like a pain in the butt job so I only want to do it once. A new alternator from the dealer is $800 and a new one from tyr is under $200. Any tips or advice from someone who has done this before is appreciated

I'd make sure it was truly the alternator 1st. Idlers would be more likely.

I just got done changing mine. Took 6 hours and I have a lift.

I'd give more details, but gotta drive.
