I got a used decked drawer system on facebook. I just know the new version decked system has torsion brace at the front of the drawers. But the one I got does't have one. My question is, do I really need one as well? But there are predrilled holes can put the torsion brace.

I don’t know either, but call or email them. If it’s needed maybe they can send you the part.

@DECKEDUSA will respond. Maybe a slight delay due to holiday weekend timing.
Can you post pics of what you are talking about so I can see it? What year is your Tundra and what bed length?

Mine did come with that piece and I purchased mine about a year ago. I would say that during one of their redesigns an engineer type added that part because they know over time it will limit shifting. Similar to bed braces some guys use on their tundras when adding racks or other items. @DECKEDUSA can probably get you that part and the hardware necessary to instal one. Call them on Monday also. They are in Idaho and have awesome customer service.

I'm surprised to hear that there are pre-drilled holes in the system for the torsion brace. If that indeed is the case, I would say that you should call up our customer service and get a new one. It isn't completely necessary, but if you have the holes, that means you have the V3 version and you might as well have all of the parts. Perhaps you can send me a photo and I can see what you have going on.
