Exactly what I was thinking of making. Let me know what's your final diagram. I have a spare mirrors that I'll be using for a core exchange for the folding side mirrors. The only thing missing is the adding cameras on it.

Will V3 still work on a 2018 Tundra?

The V2 is for the 2014-2019 Tundras, and I’m still building plenty of V2 FRAC Harnesses.

Ok. Just ordered mine. I do not have incorporated navigation (like the JBL HU) but I do have the scout link navigation that is fed off my phone. So I am assuming that the bypass switch will let us search for locations via the HU while using the Scout GPS app and driving?

I am looking at this camera. Where on the front would it install? Do you think it would fit in the badge? I have a 2007

The FRAC Harness is compatible with 3rd Gen. Trucks (2014-2020).

Yes, I was not clear - you mentioned a natika light I was interested in installing in the front of my truck. Just standard install no harness no special features.

You can physically install the Natika camera on a 2007 Tundra. However, without some sort of harness or adapter kit, you’ll have no way to connect the camera to the Head unit.

Do you have an existing reverse camera in your 2006? And if so, is the camera display on the head unit or in the mirror?

No.. I am getting a new head unit and it has an input for a front camera and a reverse camera. And both wll be installed. But I don't want to hijack your thread :). So its all good.

I got lucky and scored a used one...I've read that to run the cable through passenger side...any reason why I can't do it through driver side? I'm asking because I ran a couple wires already through driver side and I can easily piggy back off of those through.

Trying to prep and do this over the couple days off I have during Christmas/New Year

It does not matter which side you use - passenger is recommended simply because it's slightly easier to run the wires to the head unit on that side.

Either side is fine. I chose the passenger side because it was easier.

I don't meant to thread jack at all so please let me know if this is inappropriate.

Another option besides switches is a dial & push button. This is the surround system that I built with 4x OEM cameras (Front, Rear, Left & Right) for the Tacoma that I had. This is also an example of how you can attach it to a plate bumper.

I do look forward to ordering the V3 when it's ready.

    20150912_135115.jpg

Also, if I only did Front & Rear, I would consider doing a single 3-position switch:
Auto rear camera - LED off
Manual rear camera - LED on
Manual front camera - LED on

Which camera are you running? I have to replace mine, I have the emblem mounted one and I am going to the Pro color matched grill and surround, that is the plug I need to make the easiest conversion.
