So that's the one that comes as kit right? Someone is welding it up for you? Pretty sweet! Excited to see it.

Yeah it's a kit from Coastal Off Road in Canada. I paid a buddy to weld it together on his tundra. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow and hopefully have it painted and installed by next week.
One of the other bumpers listed in the armor thread is also a kit, but the wait time on it was.like 18 weeks. This one took about a week from order to my door.

So I just used steel it on my suspension parts and so far I'm impressed. I guess it comes in black as well as the silver I used. Might be worth looking into. It isn't cheap, but it also covers much better than regular paint. It's still more than regular paint though. I got mine from @sdhq_offroad because I knew they'd be able to get it to me in a timely manner. My next bumpers will probably be done with steel it.

Well it's in my possession now. Still need to get the light tabs welded on and maybe some recovery points. But the factory ones fit with the bumper so I may just throw shackles on em and call it good for now. At least until it's time to remove the bumper again to add the grill guard and winch. Unfortunely OT has been cut at work til 2020 so my funds dried up prematurely.

Still needs some minor adjustments but it's on there. The kit said to reuse the factory bolts on the sides but that must have been for the early steel bumpers as my plastic bumper didn't even attach to the side.of the frame. Anyone know what size those bolts are? Also the kit didn't come with anything to hold the trans cooler tube thingy so it's just zip tired for now.

Thanks Alex. She's really coming along nicely. Couldn't have gotten here without you and Nathan's help, among others in this awesome community.

I plan to trim the white sheet metal parts sticking out from behind the bumper but the passenger side has the washer fluid reservoir

$171.50 shipped from Amazon prime with a $50 credit applied. Bought Tuesday iirc, arrived today. Install took less than 30 minutes [IMG][IMG][IMG] Will reinstall stock air filter for off roading.
It sounds good. Not as noticeable over the roar of the v8 with my flowmaster 40 as it was on my 3.4 with stock exhaust. But still sounds good and feels good. Feels like it accelerates more evenly and comes alive even more in the high rpms. Really compliments the DDI injectors and the VVTI at high rpms

Cool. Keep us posted on the install. It was really awkward to try and lay on my back and hold the oil pan skid in place. Really needed a 2nd set of hands. Since the transmission and T case skid require drilling I'm curious how you go about doing this. If you have access to a lift it might make it a lot easier.

Good to know. I'm going to have a hell of a time because my trans cross member took a hard hit at the off road park last year and will likely need to be cut out and have a new mount welded in

Awesome. I think I’m going to give the 6.75” a try since crutchfield says they’ll fit.

They should. The 6.5s were almost too small. It was close

100 bones for the hertz 6.75 components So may as well try them. 93 db efficient so should sound great without an amp.

    I’ve rocked infinities before. (Taco)
Hertz is supposedly amazing and for 100 a piece I may as well try them.
