My friend, you must not have read any of the posts in this thread.
My engine has forged Pauter rods and JE pistons, ported/polished head with titanium 2UR-GSE valvetrain, I have a set of custom ground cams on the shelf in my garage (waiting for the OVtune that will allow me to rev past 7K before I install them), and there are Darton steel sleeves readily available for the block (even though you don't need them unless you are pushing well over 1000hp).

My semi-gutted regular cab short box weighs 4800 lbs dry with full interior. That's not much heavier than a Dodge Challenger.

Fully agree with you on that one, however with the AWD conversion that I did on the truck it makes it a lot easier to put the power down to the ground even without a trick suspension that is required on a RWD setup.

Hmm, my truck is currently putting out in the neighborhood of 800 crank hp and BRX drives a 1045 whp twin turbo Tundra in Dubai that was built by Dynosty in the States (running 10.5 in RWD), so yes, it is very possible to build a 650 hp+ 3UR-FE.

Thank you my good sir. Waiting on Whipple to release their blower they have been promising for the last 10 months.

That's the next step in chasing my dream...

Out of curiosity, what would that parts list run out of pocket list price?

When I was reading the OVtune thread I was thinking about this build and how it would work with your setup. Glad to hear you'll try it out

I had to have some surgery to repair a torn ligament in my wrist in October, so I won't be able to work on the truck for a couple more months unfortunately.

Maybe I missed where it was said, but what is the reasoning to not go to a turbocharger setup? Why wait for the Whipple instead of parts already available?

I think the Whipple would be cheaper and easier overall, being a direct bolt on kit, and I also love the instant response of the supercharger vs a turbo.
Installing a turbo kit would need a ton of custom plumbing work for intake/exhaust/oil and the plastic intake manifold would need to be replaced with an aluminum unit if you are gonna run big boost, which is another $5000 on top of everything else.
The Whipple kit will likely be in the ~$7000 range, and to build a proper turbo kit (with intake) would be well over 10K

Just ordered the Harrop TVS2650 along with smaller pulleys.
Tired of Whipple dragging their a$$ on releasing the 2.9 twin screw for our platform.
My cast is off and I am slowly recovering from the surgery, will try to install the new blower with help from friends and do some test runs in the next few weeks.

Installed the Harrop blower last night.

On the lowest boost (85mm) top pulley and the ASP crank pulley it peaks at 9 PSI.

The truck is quite a bit slower now than it was on the TRD blower (50mm pulley at 14 PSI).

Ran a couple of 1/8th miles yesterday night on a closed course and got only an 8.2 @ 82 mph (used to hit high 7s @ 87-89 mph on the TRD).

Time to swap the smaller pulley in!

Are you planning on putting back a similar nitrous back on? Are you planning on running with the 16 injector setup when you add a smaller pulley?

I’ll be installing 750 cc injectors as soon as OV gets my tune ready. I won’t be doing 16 injectors, you have to buy a different blower setup from Harrop for that (pre-drilled holes for another set of rails and injectors).
I’ll hold off on nitrous until the OV tune is done and the blower is maxed out. If I can’t reach my goals on motor alone, I’ll add spray back to it.

Try coating the rods with a CVD (secret) film so you don't get build up (Sludge) on the rods. Same life but less loss from build-up on rods.
