I’ve been working on an old truck for a while upgrading and modifying when I have the funds and the time. The plan has always been drop spindles, 4-Link, coil overs and getting her down in the dirt. I also want bigger wheels and sportier tires than what is currently on the old girl.

So..I’ve saved up the cash for the suspension and was planning on starting that lowering project soon but...

I recently bought a new Tundra and then stumbled upon this damn forum. Now I’m wanting to leave my old truck alone and buy a lift kit, wheels and tires for my new Tundra.

I know the responsible thing to do is drive the warranty and new tires off the Tundra before dumping cash into it but that’s gonna take a couple of years.

What say you? Spend my funds lowering the old truck or lifting the new one?

Lower the older one. You obviously have a passion for it, and wont truly be satisfied until shes done the way you want her.
