    Went with Line-X Premium.

    Not over the rails.
    Didnt spray the bolts.
    Sprayed the tie downs.

    I’m super happy with it.

Mine was there for half the day and no overspray so maybe they have new guys or just always do sloppy work idk but you should be able to clean off the overspray as the paint wasnt roughed up in that area.

This is one big reason why I haven’t gotten mine done. Skeptical about these shops that will cut corners or don’t know what they are doing. Sorry that this happened to you. I would prob blow a top if it happened to me.

Mine was there for 4ish hours. Just checked and no overspray.

I’m sorry you had this experience. I bet if you let Line-X know about this, they would make it right.

Don’t take this as gospel or possibly even good advice, but I’ve seen PVC solvent eat through similar substances.

Some places do a lot of commercial work on work trucks - trucks are dropped off and picked up by employees who don't care about over spray, so the installers get sloppy because they don't think it matters anymore. Soon that becomes the standard and you are seen as the asshole for being upset about it. I hope you can get some of it off. Good luck.

Line-X on the Dirty White Boy.
The bed was fairly rough when I bought the truck, Line-X extended its service life.

I wish shops next to me use Line-X .

They only have scorpion and Raptor liners. Any thoughts on theses products?

Not meant to hijack the thread but I would like to go with Line-X if all possible.

Question here. I am going in Monday for LIne-x. White tundra. Guy says white fades yellow no matter what they do. Any experience with light grey or silver on a white truck with grey interior? I carry dogs in the back (properly crated in dog boxes) and don't want the added head of black. We are also having the top of our plywood drawer system linex to match.

Before Line-X I was worried about damaging my bed. After Line-X I worry about damaging my $500.00 bed liner..

Try and find a Bullet Liner dealer near you.

Same founder as the Line-X product and a little less expensive.

My buddy put rubber mats on the bottom of his bed to keep the liner from scratching his stuff. Lol

I had turbo in my last Toyota. Now I have Linex Premium and the Linex is better in every way. It is a harder material, doesn’t fade, and was approximately the same cost. After 12 months my Turbo liner looked pretty bad.

Turned out nice. Had one shop wouldn't do it because of that same issue. Next shop wanted 900...next shop wanted 650-700 but wouldn't do over the rail because they would have to remove the plastic rail top liner...wtf.

My point is if you live in areas with multiple shops definitely shop around and take your time. Some of these places are looking to bend you over. Some you just don't get a good feeling about either. I just keep the plastic drop-in for now...

18 years with just the plastic Toyota Bed Liner doing abusive truck stuff (tow/haul) all those years.

Took plastic off for the first time and found a few handfuls of mulch. Cleaned it up and sprayed Rustoleum Bed Liner. Put the Toy plastic liner back in and sprayed it, as well. This spray really firms up the metal and plastic strength.

If you want to save some $, you can DIY his in about 5 hours time and 5 cans at $8 each. Only person to complain to about overspray is yourself. Ha.

The plastic liner is the key to real protection. The spray is an added bonus. The internet plastic liner rust ‘myths’ are just that. The rust almost always starts from underneath the bed chassis from salt tire mist/spray.

    See post #47 for pictures.

There is very little rust here... most of what you are seeing is staining caused by Georgia red clay that had collected under the rubber bed mat.

I had a bullet liner sprayed in my truck last week. We’ll see how it holds up over time, but I’m extremely impressed so far. Loving it.

DIY. Spray on bed liner, the whole bed, under tail gate gap, bed extender too, then added a bed mat and padding on extender for extra protection

The cheapest one, they both have similar warranties.
In Green Bay, Bullet Liner ran a special for crew cabs at $399.
Better than paying $549 to "Yo".

Change up here for us... bedrug on my tundra. After seeing how it’s applied I wanted something less invasive

I am getting the line-x (in the shop as we speak) but how is the bedrug for cleanup. I am thinking dog hair and pine needles, bags of fertilizer, garden supplies etc.?

The thing I am finding now that I pulled off my "tailgate rug" is that hard metal is hard on the knees getting in and out. I am too short to just jump up into the bed. And it is cold to sit on.

I just hauled home 9 bales of pinestraw and I was thinking that it was going to be a pain to clean out the bed rug. It swept right out with none left in there. Yes in a corner I had to use my fingers to sweep it out but other than that very easy and my knees felt fine climbing in and out of the truck bed. I’d happily go bed rug again. Pleased so far.
