It’s the same din size as the original radio. Should fit fine (other than glossy black plastic will look a wee bit off)

I believe they have them mislabeled as rear coils ...I'm 99% that is the case because, there are no such thing as 2886 rear coils to my knowledge and also if you look at the applications, it shows they are for 2nd Gen Tacoma's...and we all know 2nd gen Tacoma's use leafs in the rear, not coils. And though the page says rear, the link as you see below says front.

Quick question - If you floor it when you shift from 1st to 2nd, what are the RPM's that you're at in 2nd gear? I hope that makes sense.

I feel like when I go from 1st to 2nd, the RPMs drop outside of the "sweet" spot and not sure if that is just the way it is or if that's due to the larger tires (plan to use 4.56 gears in the future) or something up with the transmission. I drop to 3100-3200 RPMs it appears.

    I appreciate any feedback!

Yesterday, I installed a Auto-Vox W7 wireless backup camera. It comes with a small monitor that I set on top of the dash and it works pretty good. The video quality is not the greatest but the install was so easy a caveman could do it.

Yeah in the email they sent me they said because of the elevated cost of a metal (thanks you know who), they can't afford to do free shipping this year. However they haven't raised the cost of their products... Yet. So get it while it's good I'd say or wait and take your chances. With any luck the price.of.steel and.aluminum might go down in a year or two. But I can't wait that long. At 20% for all 4, you still save $185. For me shipping is $227. Would've been nice had I been able to afford these.last year. Oh well.

The letter said these are replacing the replacement done in the recall. So if you're didn't get an original recall, you wouldn't have this letter I'd guess. Not sure if original wasn't done, if this would be triggered or not.

my tundra was done when the recall first came out. might just be the serial number on the unit in mine isnt recalled. when we do the airbag recalls at work we have to scan.. so toyota knows exactly what inflater your truck has

hmm looks like a future project for the new radio when its installed... looks like blind spot cameras can be added with some fancy kit to the radio. As of now i have everything to get ALL of the radio working properly other than a backup camera (i have to figure what im going to run for that, but it should work out without a problem)

Seems like some interesting first level data. I wonder what we would find if we dug deeper. Saying Voldemort imposed tariffs and now muh steel is mo spencive seems disingenuous at worst and superficial at best. Most of our steel tubing we use at work comes from Korea. I'm wondering what their version of epa, safety nets, and mob run labor unions are doing better than we are to be able to produce steel for less than we can.

Don’t make me take my hoops off.

That link is a joke and extremely one sided on the accounting ledger in a few points. Most of their data is outright false and I could pick it apart right off the top of my head but won’t. If you are going to post fake news then expect some backlash. Too many are falling for ‘independent studies’ done by ‘non-profit’ orgs touting ‘the world is ending’ because of ‘tariffs’ and ‘you know who’. China has been Tariffing us for a long time and by default backdoor Europe (via China) has as well.

Might I add that gas prices have been extremely stable and low for an extended time due to (you know who) and America being the top oil producer in the world again. Used to be a goat farted the wrong way in Nigeria and we payed the price at the pump for half a year.

Where are all the ‘My HealthCare’ insurance costs are double/tripled now (because you know who) and I can’t afford any mods/rent/food etc?

A very good point. One over looked by the virtue signalers as they sip on their paper straws (in a plastic cup).

@Professional Hand Model there is no need for another tangent. The Tax foundation is a non-partian group that's been around since 1937. I specifically linked that over a news source so no one would get butt hurt. Whether or not you want to believe it, steel prices are up.

This is why they have rules here. Some of y'all cant even discuss without going completely off the rails. Go find a political forum to air this out on.

I'll edit my last post and remove the link.

No tangent here. Stated my revisions to your half truth article sold as truth. Everywhere I go ‘the world is ending’ and people like you linking their ‘non-partisian’ fact checks etc. Your link is wrong and you got called out on it. You go spout your stupid links somewhere else. You seconded the ranting from wumbo. You guys knew what you were doing so don’t act all innocent because you got called to the mat.

We are and will continue so.

There is no where to hide on ‘The Island’ so it is real life. One must work to eat by gathering coconuts and fish. Two fishes caught equals two fishes caught. Not one fish equals one coconut like other places.

Sorry for my so called "rant" guys. Please return to being friends. Here's the email I was referring to. The fact is the price of materials has gone up since last year and we won't be getting free shipping.
    Screenshot_20191125-184241_Gmail.jpg
So let's just enjoy the discount from the only company that offers skids for our trucks currently and of course continue to enjoy each other's company. I had no idea mentioning the cost of metal would make every so upset

I got the same e-mail....and prices are lower from last year (I don't know how long those prices changes take to make it to end producers though......but historically, they are right in line with a averages for the last 15 years...probably lower inflation adjusted). We are in the middle of a big trade correction that is long overdue (IMHO, but not interested in debating that here), so we are seeing volatility in any commodities trading and probably will continue while all this shakes out....let's get back to Tundras and keep it there.....

I've been doing basic maintenance for a couple of days now. Saturday was greasing zerks between rain. Sunday was valve cover gaskets and spark plugs. Today was diff/transfer case fluid and oil. I've still got a front right speed sensor to do, and the timing belt/water pump. That will be a post for another day!
