Just picked one up today for cheap. Wondering if there is any way to mount it? Might just fix it up and sell it. Use the (hopefully) profit to upgrade to something a little more compact.

In the past I've owned two toyToy straight axle trucks . 1982-1985
I had an older warn upright on them both.
Biggest advantage is how fast they roll up .
When u start coming out from being stuck they wind up fast enough that your not driving over the winch line .
    Great winch.
There hard to find around my area.
    Congrats on finding one.
A little cleaning and shining up . No telling what you can get for it.
Enough to fund a new winch for sure.

The 8200 series were great. I had one on my Bronco years ago. Nice find!

So I just tested the winch out . Disconnected the negative off my truck battery (just to be safe) and connected the winch up. Worked fine, but after I reconnect the negative and threw the truck into reverse the backup camera didn't come on. Anyone know where the fuse is for that circuit?

Edit: Found a thread with potential fuses. I'l check those and update.

tigwelder was correct. Sold my 8274 for a modest price and used that money to pick up a m12000 today (see photo below the person used to list it). Didn’t realize how “large” a large frame winch is. Don't think there are too many bumpers for the tundra that this will fit on. Might have to sell this one too. I’ll get it right one of these days..:D

I put 8274s on all my Jeep CJs. Wonderful beasts, difficult to fit anywhere else.

They are. So simple and well designed. I ended up selling my and just bought a m12000. Unfortunately, that doesn’t fit in too many spots either so will either keep it to start a collection or sell it
