OK, hello all. My first Tundra and coming from Fords my entire life I love the truck except MPG and HP. I figure the MPG is gone anyways because of 6" lift and 35's. But I need the HP to get up and go in Houston Traffic. Read some on here about exhaust increasing 45-50 HP???? Anyone can elaborate more on this. Thanks...

Did you regear when you put the 35's on? If not, you aren't suffering a lack of power, you just aren't getting it to the ground effectively.

Re gearing is a great way to get your power band back closer to factory or even better

Exactly. Supercharger and exhaust change will give you significant hp and torque. Mine pulls 550 at the crank and 464 at the wheel with 475 ft/lbs torque. And I run 37s. I have 3" Magnaflow Flowmaster exhaust and long tube headers.

You regeared though, didn't you? I'm just saying that if all he needs is get up and go in traffic, a regear should do the trick.

Press the tow/haul button then drive it around a bit. There is a pretty significant difference in mine when I do.

Excellent point sir. Yes, I did regear. Hadn't thought of that, but a regear might be all that's needed. Or, he could do it all and have 1 badass ride.

Appreciate the compliment, but this isn't about me. Well, maybe a little. Everyone should experience this! It's quite exhilarating!

If your wanting to regear, hit up my buddy Erick at State48Overland. He can get you squared away with a great deal on gears!
