I have a few questions mainly because I'm not a gearhead. I have a crewmax '16 TRD PRO. I put iron cross bumpers on front and rear, and changed up to 305/70/R18 tires with the stock wheels. Now I was expecting my gas mileage to change, so I'm not complaining, but just wondered if there is a chip or programmer which may help out with this. I do already have the TRD cold air intake installed and need to keep my warranty. Any ideas?

Chips/programmers will always void manufacturer warranty. They will make for a better drive/ride but are generally intended for the use of performance enhancement and not so much consumption.

Do you have an exhaust of any kind?

EDIT: Also, you could supercharge, but it wouldn't be for fuel economy. Technically, if you could help punching it it could help. But I have yet to meet someone who didn't floor it at ever opportunity.

You can also follow simpler options like consistently checking tire pressure, intake filter, and staring at your instant MPG to minimize your habits. But for the most part, there isn't really any remedy.

(this is from my understanding - someone feel free to tell me if im wrong)

Remove the intake .... That will give you some low end torque back.

    In addition,
You are taking into account tire side when calculating you mpgs....yes?

I still need the time off work to recalibrate for the tire size, but just wondered if there were anything else I could do which would not void warranty. I don't floor it unless passing someone (age got the better of me) so that's not an issue.
The truck still has the stock TRD pro exhaust.

    Quick and dirty math,

275/65/18 to a 305/70/18 is a difference in diameter of 8.5% (all this is subject to slight differences).

So if driving 300mi then now puts you at 325mi driven.

Though I would check this specific to your vehicle.

Our trucks mpg doesn't change when recalibrating speedo. Any change made to bring speedo back to correct is done after ecu has its way with the signal anyways. FYI
