Trying to find online the size of these things. My Wife says she wants them on our doors, I'm weary, told her she may not want to see what's going on when we're not here but anywho...

If anyone has these things, what's the mounting dimensions? I haven't seen any detail mounting info yet. We have existing door bells but not sure if they will fit.

    What's the power requirement?

I have one on my front door, about 2x5, or there about, maybe is about .75 inch thick.

Not that out of place looking. They have a battery and are charged by your hard wired door bell wires, if they are absent there is a charger included and depending on use you might have to charge the battery every 3 months or so

The power requirement is 12V. Btw, in case you don't happen to know, there are two types of ring door bell particular to power source. One is wired and the other uses batteries. I have a ring door bell pro and I was able to use my existing doorbell wiring. Hope this help.

I apologize for my incorrect post about power requirement. The correct power requirement for the Ring Doorbell Pro is 16-24 VAC. Source:https://shop.ring.com/collections/video-doorbells//products/video-doorbell-pro.

    Here is mine.
I would have centered it in that spot but the existing wires come out of the brick in the spot it is in.

Same for me - had to swap the transformer. If I remember correctly the pro also has a slightly better camera and is a little skinnier.

Not worried about the look, worried I have enough clearance where the current doorbell is.

    Doesn't look like it'll fit.

I'm not going for the Echo or Alexia or whoever it is listening in on everything in the house, only outside...
Shit, just realized I've been looking at it on my wife's Amazon. Oh well, she'll know I was listening to her.

Thanks for the input guys!

You can buy wedges on Amazon if the Ring version doesn’t come with them, I had the same issue and put ours sideways:

    C6CBE3DA-AA73-494E-8C2B-F1BD6E222635.jpg

Which works out as this is the view:
    67A613BB-71B2-418B-81B5-714BC31AA01E.jpg

It’s always great to see the deliveries. I once called a neighbor because an Amazon envelope with an SD card in it was blowing around.

Also, Wyze cams are cheap if you want additional security. I’ve got one in an outdoor enclosure and there’s a security light behind it that shines people if they approach the truck at night. You need an outlet to power the Wyze though. Cloud notifications to your phone are free. You can put a microSD card in it and playback continuous recordings remotely too.

I have the Pro and it works with my traditional chime, though I've since disabled it and just use the Chime Pro wireless chime and the alerts on my phone. There is a setting in the app to turn the house chime on and off.

The Pro will be fine in that spot, but you might need to get a little creative with the back plate.

I have one inside the garage too, visually tells me if the garage door is open/closed as we have a Meross opener (I’ve let my kids in remotely after school when they forgot their keys).

    6BB1ED52-FD8A-4F81-B8C6-FFD7F27699BF.jpg

I have one inside pointed out the backyard, and one in the kitchen pointed at the back door. Only the outside one at my truck is in an enclosure, survived all seasons, no crashes. They’re all Wyze Cam V2

The wedges - I talked to their support over the summer and they sent me wedges at no cost. Just sayin !!

For the record I went with the Eufy solution. Very happy with it. No cloud requirement, videos stored on the device and they are accessible via mobile app. Alerts and all. Powered from the doorbell wiring.

Just the upfront cost and it has option for cloud storage per subscription.
