For drying? I ended up going overboard on drying and bought a master blaster by metrovac. Go ahead and laugh at the name, I did. Works really well tho.

Which one do you recommend? They've got several choices, but I think I remember the extra large edgeless one being hyped a while back.

40 dollars for a towel? That's a lot of money I use my micro towel and spray my truck while it's wet with aero spray wax/cleaner so I'm waxing and drying at the same time.i can't see spending that much money 40 dollars ,not for me I'm sure it's good but my way is good too , been drying cars with a towel for 55 years ,

I spent $20 on some OK drying towels a few months ago and they were a huge improvement over the ones that I had been using. I've seen a lot of solid reviews on these, so $40 doesn't bother me for what it can do. AZ sucks for water spots so anything that can help dry the truck before those form is huge.

I don’t disagree that it is very expensive, and certainly not the only effective way to get the job done. That said, it’s the only towel I know of that can dry an entire Tundra by itself. There are cheaper drying towels, but you always need more than one, so that closes the gap in price.

Usually I dry the paint and glass first, then my Bakflip cover last. The Bakflip always has a ton of standing water on it. Even after drying the rest of the truck, it soaks up every drop of the pond on the tonneau cover with no effort.

Certainly not for everyone, but there’s absolutely nothing better available. You don’t even have to use pressure. Just lay the towel across your hood, pick it up, and you’re done. For the sides of the truck, I just hold it along the top, and walk down the side. Just gravity and the weight of the towel does the job. This is very helpful to avoid marring.

If you’re using spray wax as a drying aid, which is a great process, this isn’t going to be for you. You do need some pressure to make that work, and you’re not going to want to get wax absorbed into an expensive towel anyway.

Thank you for the Pep boys info. I have one near me and will check it out today. Read the reviews on Amazon too. One towel will dry an entire truck?

OK, you guys convinced me. Pep Boys had it and I went out and got one for myself. (another as a gift).
Unfortunately, it is too cold to wash the car today and tomorrow there is supposed to be snow. So it may be a while before I get to try it.

You will be very happy and amazed. Use it to dry off after your shower, I think you could dry a body with a 6"×6" PFM pretty easily.
