That took a lot of patience. 192 bolts is a lot. 96 out, 96 in. Hope you used power tools. The wheels look great though. The black is how they should come in the first place.

I'l be doing the same, searching for anodized black hex or torx to replace the chrome. Or even rubber plugs just tip complete the dechroming.

I had done this a year or so ago. I went with one bulb that was too bright so I went and selected the lowest lumen 8mm bolt light I could get and it's good now. This one is amber so doesnt look as good as white or blue but it doesn't cause any eye strain issues for me

I wouldn't have thought painting that weld would make that big of a difference. I just might do that. Very nice looking truck. :hattip:

How do you like that OME set up? Did you go with the heavy load or light load? Your trucks stance is mean looking. I’ve considered it as a replacement for my 3/1 spacer kit that’s kinda rough but really like the height and don’t want to lose any more height. Nice Rig btw!

Just installed CB bumper shims. Removed 7 of the 8 bolts, removed plastic trim and tow hooks. Had just enough room to insert one plate at a time. Was doing this install by myself and wasn’t that bad. Keeping one bolt on one side then switching to the other made it really convenient. Affordable alternative at the time. Waiting for tires and wheels to arrive soon. Chrome delete is way overdue. Nice Tundras all over this forum!

Today, replaced and installed the new Tundra and SR5 matte black emblems to complete the “Goodbye Chrome “ On my 17 CM. 46 K , Quicksand Grill and hood bulge, vision granite alloy wheels, Falkin Wildpeak A/T 3, Ignite 4” step bars, Ecoological TPO bumper covers,( front& back) and matte black Thule transporter racks. Cover king mesh seat covers and a full bed liner insert. Always room for upgrades but for now a good looking surf rig. A year and half transformation.

Tried it again last night. This worked and I got them on. Still not as flush as the ones that were on there, but acceptable. Thanks!

It's not as tight fitting as the black one IMO. I have a spare, I'll look how snug it is in comparison. Color keyed caps might just making us think it's not on right since of the color transitioning from black.

Thanks! I leveled the truck with Bilstein 5100's, no spacers. I haven't found any rubbing.
