Love this setup. Did you keep this lift or did you go to 6112s? Thought I saw another post where you had 6112s on...

Gotcha. Thanks, did you like the 3-1 lift? I'm sure the 6112s are better though.

I'm at 2.5 on 6112, with a Coachbuilder shim on drivers side only, with 5160's and Coachbuilder +2 (1.25") shackles in the rear with Nitto Terra Grappelrs. On stock suspension I felt the 275/70's looked great. But now with the lift and being on this site all the time I want wheels and bigger tires :(

Personally, I think it looks great.

My trucks used to be lifted 6 inches [ALWAYS]. I finally went to leveled and forget it. Next time, I'll probably just stay stock. [As I age, things change ...]

275/70r18s. 5100s on top setting. Quite a bit of rub after the install, until we modded the stock skid plate.

Pardon me if this is a dumb question but, it seems some of you are rubbing the skid plate and others aren’t. This is all with 275/70-18. Is this due to the different tires or inconsistencies in the skid plates? Would aftermarket wheels with a different offset negate the need to mod the skid plate?

I think spacers or offset will keep the wheels off the skid for sure, but even with stock wheels and no spacers all we did was slightly bend the skid plate. It took all of ten minutes and was no big deal.

Thanks! I have a 2015 SR5 CM and wanted to be sure Cooper XT3 XLT LT275/70/18 would not rub with No Lift.

They might hit the "skid" plate at full lock but that can be easily reshaped and/or trimmed. I trimmed about .75" off each side of the skid to get rid of the rub with my 275/70/18. Took longer to take it off and put it back than cutting it.

Stock height in the rear - but also stock rear suspension. I didn't touch the rear... just the 6100s up front.

If you want a superior ride, and your bed is empty, run two PSI under what you run the fronts.
You can always add to the rears when getting ready to load up or tow.

I run about 10 psi less in the rear when unloaded. Seems to get the right amount of tire bulge and contact patch. I am running E rated tires though. I run between 45 and 50 psi in the front and then match the rears at 8-10 psi less. Works for me at least

275/70R18 Falken Wildpeaks on Methods +18 with Bilstein 6112s @1.9” on front and stock height in the rear. With the offset on the wheels they did rub. I hear gunned the mudflap and moved the holes in the plastic front inner fender. No issues now.

Sits just like my cement unit, I used Rough Country s for the leveling of the front and I got the satin black pieces for the grill surround and hood bulge.
It rides real nice and I don't get a rear view mirror full of my bed cover.
