I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra SR5 4X4 that has 198,000 miles on it and the frame was replaced during the recall. I recently replaced the brake rotors and pads with EBC rotors and pads for a 2000 Toyota Tundra (this was before I read some of the previous threads on this forum) and they worked well for about a month and I have noticed that when I am going downhill and press the brakes the entire truck vibrates just like before I replaced them. They are going to need to be replaced and was wondering if I should buy 2005 Tundra rotors, pads, and calipers. I absolutely love my truck and don't want to get rid of it but the brake issue is cursing me. Any help anyone can provide would be much, much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your response,
    Otto

i had a tie rod end that went bad and it acted just like a warped rotor disc when i would hit the brakes. jack the front of the truck up, and grab the wheel on both sides and try to turn it while watching the tie rod end . any play at all you should have it replaced, and front end realigned . 17.00 for tie rod end and 129.00 for labor and front end alignment hope this helps!

I had all front suspension and tie rods checked and everything was okay. So, I upgraded the front brakes to a 2006 caliper and rotors and the problem seems to be solved. Thanks for your input
