Bought a new 2019 Double Cab SR5 4x4, with intentions of building it out etc..

Had it at the stealership at least a half a dozen times already over the past couple of months.

Has shutter vibrations through out different speeds (i.e when feathering throttle and let off gently, or when about to shift into next gear), and the truck shakes kinda like a bad out of balance tire at times, the seats, the bed, you can feel it a little in the steering wheel at times... The shakes seems to be more at highway speeds.. Sometimes feels "grumbly"~the best word to describe?

Stealership tried regular wheel tire balance, then road force balanced twice, aligned, trans fluid check... Opened a TA case and they checked to pinion angle etc, they said it was "fine"... But it has continued with the original shake/vibe.
Wheels are the el cheap stock steels with Michelin LTX tires.

I thought on top of what they checked already, maybe it could be drive shaft related or something trans related ~ torque converter or flex plate lock up... Just guessing at this point.
    ////

So my question is, has anyone experienced any of this with theirs or heard of it?

And how would you describe the ride in yours?

Because on top of what I mentioned with the shakes/vibes,
the ride sucks ass, it's bouncy as crap, probably the worst riding vehicle I've ever had..
If I thought suspension and bigger tires would calm it down, I'd do it, but the shakes and vibes have me questioning moving forward with things..

    Thanks

What you mention about it happening when feathering the throttle of when its about to shift kinda tells me that its probably not the tires. I think you're on the right path as far as it coming from the driveline. But, I couldn't tell you what it is.

Yes, I've heard of tundras vibrating and shaking. They are very sensitive tire balancing issues. I see it at work all of the time. I spent 30 mins just balancing my tires when I swapped to some new wheels.

In all honesty if they dealer hasn't been able to fix it after multiple tries I think I would start looking at the Lemon Law.

I would describe the spec Tundra ride as "firm", especially on irregular road surface. On smooth pavement, it should ride like a passenger car. Hit a nice pothole, and the occupants will bounce around like that "Buck Naked" underwear ad. It's a truck, stiffly sprung with firm shocks. "Bouncey" sounds like bad shocks. Suspension should absorb a hard lick and rebound...once. Passengers may continue to move around for a bit.

I think you're on track with the looney-lockup torque converter thinking. Might need to drive a little to find better dealer service.

I have a 19 Sport, with the 20" Bridgestones which most here dislike, but i think it rides great. Still experimenting with pressures, but so far 32lbs front and 35lbs rear work for me. Hope you figure it out.

I paraphrased your statement but, in my opinion this should be echoed by everyone who buys a brand new Tundra.
If it's any different than something is wrong with the truck.

I should have added that my 2017 TSS edition has 20" wheels with Goodyear Wrangler tires (kevlar belts).

my 19 DC limited rides as smooth down the road as any vehicle I have ever owned. When you hit a bump, or curb, or pothole, you will feel it, but down the road, should ride like butter.. I had a new Maxima drive exactly like what you are experiencing, multiple trips to the dealership, balancing, road force, tire replacement, etc.. Never did fix it and I got rid of it after 3 years... Waste of 40k and would never by a Nissan again..
