Yessir, and the guy that had the truck babied it , garage kept etc. Those etchings are where the rubber trim separated the flare from the body. Dirt and grime was in there when I pulled them off.

I removed my bed tie down hooks. Paint was chipping off and bolts were rusting. Anybody know of a good replacement hook, aside from the dealer? Do Tundras work with this style, (pictured)? I cant find any anywhere besides dealers and dealer prices. Would a hook like this from that says its for another truck work for a tundra?IMG_2958.jpg

That is my question. Are there tie downs that are specific to Tundra, that are not from the dealership? I will not be drilling new holes. I want plug and play!

Looks like the ones I removed from my 03 F250..... Are you wanting something just like that for the Tundra or similar. I may be making some similar for my truck but a tad thicker.

I hope so as well. Would like to get my deductible back. Doubt that. The kids that goes to her school come from the inner city and the parents are on public assistance. Which means no money to pay up!
    Thanks.

Removed my noisy blower fan unit (easy, 3 8mm screws & a plug - under the glovebox).
Put it on the kitchen counter (it was 14F outside) and shook (banged) out all of this dust, appears to be motor brush & armature remnants.
Re-installed and it is quiet again! 20161219_170519[1].jpg
BTW - that dust somewhat 'stained' my counter top! Maybe with a few more cleanings it will go away - SO do this over a cover or table you don't care about!

Upgraded from 285/65/18s to 295/70/18 Nitto Trail Grapplers. LOVE the way it turned out.

Removed the inner wheel plastic in the front and mud flaps to get the front to not rub at full lock.

I have the Bilstein 6112 Coilovers up front and 5100s in the back. 2.5/1.5

Got a question for you fellas with 5.7's. how loud is your motor when your cruising on the highway and it accelerates to go up a hill? I can hear a faint ticking when the radio is off. Do you guys have kinda noisy engines also?

Yeah these motors are noisy. As long as you don't have leaks, have oil pressure and no power loss, you are good!

I finally installed the hard wired mini-USB power supply above the overhead console for my dash cam tonight. Nice to get rid of the cig. plug adapter and wire mess.

Added color matched grill to go with the mirror caps and Door handles. Love the look. My truck is pretty much complete for now. d06d9dc95bf95518d4377997307f75cb_31edb6e64f66d6e0c1a292e4927bdf44733e1b49.jpgc3548b0c50ad2d36d106d0289a8bb254_186f08206e526001012cb74daac29d102c65addc.jpg

Scored a set of manual air bags. They were on a co-worker truck for about a week. He traded his truck and took them off prior to.
I hope to put them on by next weekend.
