I have a friend that does not like LED headlights ( I know, I know, crazy right!!!). He has a 2019 and I have a 2017. We were tossing around the idea of trading and I add some $$$. I know I need a new harness from Ihacker. Does anyone know if my friend needs a new harness also, or would my headlights just plug and play?

I have a 2015 SR5 and just changed out 2018 LED head lights. They are the same mount only thing is you will have top have wiring kit for the LED Running lights. I bought mine from HR Headlight Revolution. Hope this helped you in making up your mind

Your halogen harness connectors are different, but all you need is the appropriate @iHacker adapter harness. I recommend the harness that passes through the firewall grommet and connects to power behind the driver side kick panel. Complete instructions for the installation in thread below. DRL delete is your choice depending on personal preference. I made the upgrade on my 2017 and love it (sig photo out of date). Trade headlights with him NOW before he changes his mind!

Edit: The bad news for your friend is he'll need a reverse adapter harness to install your halogen headlights. Maybe @iHacker can help with that one too. I would have been happy to buy the guy new connectors...those headlights are worth about $550-$600+.
