    Working on it
Quick simple and cheap idea, I stretched 2 bungy cords across front of bed ,about 2 ft back from front , then stretched 1 across the back about 1 ft from tail gate, I slide front of rod through the 2 cords in front and lay the reel on top of cord in back and use release type of wire ties to hold rod handles tight in place on back bungy cord. They are in at angle from corner to corner but ride above everything really nice. Dont move move because of wire ties.

sorry they're not mine. :) But when I use to fish a while back my roommate had one he made, I think it was 4" pvc and the caps. Cheap way of transporting them either in the car or in back of the bed.

I once broke a fishing pole that was poked outside of my side rear window.. that sucked that day. :(

I usually put my rods in the rod storage in my 18ft boat. But if I'm taking out the little boat I just bungee cord them on at an angle along the driver side side wall of the bed. 2019-08-02 11.10.52.jpg

We use ski racks here in hawaii. Fishing trails and rods in the bed can be disastrous. Rods now days, one little nick and your rod can blowup on the next cast. So having them out if harms way, leaves so much room in the bed to pack.
