I honestly don’t see the point of the V6 camry. Our ‘15 2.5L goes like stink with great fuel economy and the ‘18+ added another 30 ponies and even better mileage.

I'm just going off of my experience with my 2010 3.5L vs my wife's 2012 2.5L that we had at the same time, and it was night and day. The V6 was pretty damn fun to drive. I hated my wife's car because it was so sluggish. I'm sure there have been improvements over the years, though, and maybe it's not quite as drastic anymore...

Need to bring back the awd in manual and you’d have one fun toboggan

I love my 2018 Camry with the 4 cylinders. Looks great and has all the goodies. Got some good get up and go and I get over 40mpg and very close to 500 miles on a tank of gas. Not sure I would need awd Camry though.

Maybe I’d change my mind if I drove the V6, but I do like good fuel economy in a car, and I’m not sure I’d want to put my 5.7L Tundra on the line beside that 2.5L / 6A. I haven’t had groceries go bad on the way home yet anyway. ;)

Some of y'all are obsessed with cylinder count. :D

It's a Camry, not a Supra. I guarantee the 4cyl has plenty of pep. That's a nice looking car too. I like it.

I think you're ignoring a segment somewhere in between... The 2020 Camry will still have the V6 option, just not paired up with the AWD drivetrain. I think it'd be awesome to see the TRD version with both options together.

Yeah I’ve got a similar experience with my 97 4cyl vs my previous 99 V6.
I realize they have made plenty of changes since then but the 97 really can’t get out of its own way. It’s not as fun to drive as the V6. However it’s a great car and will hold 80 and get 27mpg at the same time so I don’t complain.
