Hello and great forum you have created here!

I am looking for answers for my Brother who owns the 2002 4x4 Tundra but can't seem to find what he is looking for (even at the dealer)

    So here is my dilemma.....

There is a Splash/guard pan under the front differential (What is that called and is there a link to a diagram anywhere for that area of the truck?)

for some reason, he is missing screws from the pan and now it is rattling.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My name is Brett by the way!

    Thank you in advance!

Take one.of the bolts out.and take it to your local hardware store. It's it's a legit mom n pop shop they'll likely match the bolts for you

Local hardware store? Whats that? I kid because big box put them under around here sadly.

Big Box should have them located in the pull out drawers in fasteners section which I just visited for metrics to fit the running boards.

Luckily we still have 2 local stores. Ace hardware and Stanton's Grocery, Meat, Feed and Hardware. Stanton's is the original general store from when my town was formed in the 1800s. So we try to keep em in business since they more or less started the town

One of the bolts for the skid plate? There's a couple of different ones to choose, but they have the part numbers next to them in the image.

I used self tappers from big box. They are the all weather metal roofing type with both a rubber and metal washer. Make sure you know where your fluid lines are located before zipping them. Use the 3/4” long ones and zip about 4 on the sides and 3 on the top. Cheap and stronger in my opinion.

I zip tie mine. Just replace them every oil change. Solves the rattle

That works too! Did it on a few other cars. The 1st Gens don’t need to drop the skid plate to change fluids fortunately. Only if doing other major work or if you have T-Rex arms.
