Guys, any recommendations of what style/type of strip works best. I know some are just a brake light other combine turn signal and brake.

Also 9003 headlight bulb, Do the more expensive Sylvania bulbs, silverstar, etc make a difference?

I don't know about the light strip but the better headlight bulbs do make a difference. Worth the money in my book.

I have been using them for over 20 years. The life span is a little less than a regular bulb but the light output is worth it especially if you do most of your driving out of the city on dark roads. I also see a lot of one eyed vehicles with regular bulbs. It all depends on how diligent you are on vehicle upkeep.

Might I suggest you visit my ‘build’ page before you do this? Learn from my experience. The Silverstar Ultras are not very bright. Also, the ‘whiteness’ (das raciss) wears off quickly, as well.

The Katanas are right in the same price point and way better.

LED’s or HID’s will blow any Sylvania bulb out of the water and will cost the same.
