Would you recommend going with the top setting vs the middle setting to get the closest possible to the Pro look as possible?

@OR18TRD looks great thank you for all the great information. I’m going to go with the top setting hope it’s what I’m looking for. From there I’ll decide what todo with the rear suspension!

A block lift makes the springs a little stiffer. A shackle adds the lift without stiffening the rear springs. The Coachbuilder shackles with the new bushings help minimize bed hop.

Thanks. I've since done a little research and it's making sense now.

So the place that put my 5100's in all 4 corners did the top setting in the front. Sometimes it looks level and other times nose high. I bought a 1" block for the rear, should that make it look better?

Stock for now, but have TRD Rear Sway bar for it.
Level ground and tape measure are the only way to really know. Measure straight up from the ground through the middle of the wheel to the wheel well, then see if difference between front and rear. That will tell you the difference or if there is still some rake.

I did 5100's on the middle with 2 CB shims in front, got exactly 2.5 inches of lift. I set about 3/4 of an inch higher in the rear, looks level, looks good and feels good. 33" tires are on the way.

Picture is on a slight down hill angle of the road in my neighborhood. Should give an idea.

Your truck still looks nose high; not level.

Measure from the center of the rim to the fender rather than from the ground. This way you take out the tire and difference in inflation out of the equation.

You should definitely be nose high. The 1" block, would bring you close to level. Only thing you can do is install them and see. I still think you will be nose high with adding the 1" block.

Here is with the new tires. I forgot the measurement, I will have to get them again. Front is slightly lower than the rear, like 1/2" or so from what I remember. 275/60R20 Falken AT3 tires.

No, I put the 5100's in the middle setting and 2 CB shims on each side. Of course, I am writing this and don't have my measurements, but I wanna say like 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches lift in front.

The pictures are deceiving too. When the truck is just parked out there in a parking lot, it looks perfect and level. Can't tell any difference front to back. I parked really far away from Lowes the other day so I could walk up and see it from afar, looks so good. Super happy. If anything should have gotten 275/65/R20 tires for a little bigger tire, but I'm good..................for now. hahahahah.

Anyone have a pic with the 5100s on the next to lowest setting? My goal is similar to that of the OP's.

Also, am I correct that even if you set them to stock, there is still a slight lift? Thought I read that the lowest setting is like 0.84" or something?

There's a thread with pictures of 5100s on bottom or lowest clip. There is a .87" raise to the lowest setting.

Can anybody give me some insight....I just ordered 5100s for the front and 2 Coachbuilder 1/4" shims and the plan is to do the middle setting plus add the shims to get me right at 2" of front lift. After several hours of research her on the forum, some people say middle setting gets you level. Some say top setting gets it level. Well that's an inch difference from middle to top. Give or take. I want it to be level with no rake. If it ends up being nose high, I'll just add some shackles in the back. I wanted to run 6112s at 1.9" but they are out of my budget. I initially ordered a 2" spacer kit, but after pretty much everyone on here saying not to do spacer, I went with 5100s. A guy on here did 5100s middle setting with a CB shim on each side, and it looked exactly how I want it. Any advice would be great. So confused. Seems like every truck is different. Waiting on the 5100s, already have my wheels (Method 312s) and decided on 275/70/18 BFG k02s. Just gotta get it all installed.

Just had my 5100s installed. I wanted middle setting with no shims to keep some rake. The shop installed them on the top setting instead, with no shims, and a stock rear, and honestly I’m glad they did. The truck looks dead level. Sometimes I think it might be a touch nose high, but maybe bc I’m just paranoid. Hope this helps.719EF8A1-2AD2-4693-A3C9-B199993E14D5.jpg

Thanks!! That’s what I’m looking for is dead level. And this is why I can’t make up my mind. Every truck looks different!!! Hahaha
