Just curious, how did you like that Super Duty? What made you get rid of it?

Thanks, Sean! I was pretty pumped that it finally worked. I posted a quick write-up in the Performance and Tuning sub in case anyone else is looking to try.

Well, I did love it for most of its life. It was a 2004 6.0l which was just a bad motor. I put probably $10k into mods and upgrades to just the motor alone.

What sent me over the top was when I spent $5k on injectors, FICM, wire harness, etc and then 6 months later it was a FORD. Found On Road Dead. Now the cam sensor got hit by the cam pin that was coming out. Quote was another $4k and I said hammer the pin in and just get it running. They did and I limped it to Toyota and got my 19' cement.

The worst part was that I just put 37" BFG on that had about 2k miles on them. Dont get me wrong that truck was a beast. I really did love it. I had a tuner and different turbo and could light those 37's up from a start. It did 0-60 in just under 7 sec and for a big truck I think that's pretty fast.

I had been looking at trucks for a while, and always seemed to come back to the Tundra for reliabilty. Not looking back because I love my Tundra.

Got the Morimoto XB headlights in this morning and found a little time to install them despite the cold. Didn't have time to install the XB fogs. Maybe this weekend. Got a great deal from lightwerkz.net

I replaced factory halogen units that I "upgraded" with aftermarket LED bulbs. Came with factory LED DRL. So it was easy swap. Just plug and play except for setting up the sequential blinker. That just involved disconnecting a connector.

Very happy with them. The difference doesn't really show in the pictures....

I dont know now why I didnt order the grab handle from Roman.

I had a list of items and ordered some from him (toyota of cool springs) and some from sparksparts. Tundradude34 (youtube/FB/IG) likes sparksparts, and posts videos of his mods, which I've found useful.

I ordered about half of my parts from each shop. Both shipped quickly.

What was different was the packaging of the items.

Roman added empty boxes to the larger box to prevent items from smashing into each other.

Sparksparts did not put as much effort into keeping things safe. I'd ordered a Tundra skid plate and they shipped a Tacoma one instead. The part numbers are very similar, so honest mistake. But, it banged around the fedex box and parts might have fallen out of the huge holes created during shipping. I returned it, obviously without trying to install. I also ordered the wheel flares from them and one rivet was missing. Thankfully, they shipped these in a separate box, but who knows how the next box will arrive. I am nervous because I've ordered items that could be destroyed by the skid plate.

Tight fit but it worked fine. (moved this doll house for a friend - that's what happen when you own a truck)

Hahahaha. Well I was just minding my own damn business, stopped at a stoplight, when it ran up on me.

My brother did call me a lucky lil bitch as he was showing me which buttons control which lights. (My Dad and him own the body shop) I think he’s a little jealous. My Tundra looks a bit more badass than his Tundra now. #sorrynotsorrybro
