No way. I tried those and got flats all the time. Yokos and Mickeys have both been good to me, even though my Yokos don't have to cool factor looks.

I have ran the usual off-road tires on other trucks but I wanted something different and with raised white lettering so I bought my Cepeks( yes I’ve always called them Cepeks). I purchased the 275/70r18 which are just a little taller and a smidge wider than stock. I choose the EXPs because they are a tire that sits between an AT and a MT. I have yet to get them off-road but for me they are not that loud on the roads and add a nice aggressive look to the Pro.

Thanks for the mini review. In all seriousness, I might try these out. Right now General Grabber ATXs are at the top of my list, but these do seem interesting.

I run atzp3 on both my summer and winter rims on my tundra. Fun country 2s on my excursion all in 37s. Just put 35" exp on my project heep I mean jeep. The mold for all the rubber could almost be the same. All very very similar. Exp is significantly cheaper. Less ply from what my buddy who is a mickey Thompson rep (and also my tire hook up) tells me. I love the dicks on my excursion they have been great. 0 miles on the exps on the jeep still under construction. All the above rubber made in the usa. Which is important to me.

So, I did end up buying some Trail Country Exp. I went to American Tire Depot and got the black Friday deal of buy 3 tires get the 4 free. Got 315/70/17 along with Fifteen52 Traverse HD wheels. So far I agree with MaxYota, these tires are aggressive looking and are just slightly more noise than the stock Michelin tires. They are also 6-7 lbs lighter than the General ATXs, too.

Nice tires I think they have a 45K mile warranty too which is a plus.

They do. I did do some freeway driving last night and yes I can notice the hum since I have had stock tires for three years, but it isn't anything too loud. We will see what the wife says when you take a trip. lol
