    Third time I’ve tested this and maybe I’m missing something. I can drive my 5.7 V8 2019 all the way down to E. I get it about 20 miles during empty, and on my digital showing how many miles left, I only 1 mile...

    I fill up (3 different stations), and I can only fill 32 gallons. It will fill 32 almost exactly. All my truck info shows I have a 38 gallon tank. So, WTF?

    Do a search. Lots of threads on this. About an 8 gallon reserve I think.

    Its a built in reserve. Best not to take it too low or the fuel pump may get damaged.

    Did a search and apparently didn’t use the correct wording. Nothing to see here people...

    You must have a blockage somewhere in the tank. :stirthepot:

    On a more serious note....Yup, as others above noted there is an extremely conservative reserve of ~8 gals which also keeps the fuel pump cool.

    What keeps the fuel pump cool is gas running thru it, not the gas around it. Sheesh...Still not good to run it down to true empty.

    Reserve is approximately 6 gallons for the 26 and 38 tanks.

    <sarcasm on>

    You guys must be wrong...the manual says:

    <sarcasm off>

    Funny Toyota went through the trouble to mention 3.8 gallons remaining in the large tank, yet reality is much higher.
