1st time in the dirt for this Tundra

    I took my 7 week old 2018 Tundra out for a long day trip to Anza Borrego Desert State Park yesterday. It was perfect weather with light rain in the morning, (just enough to keep the dust down), mid-day sunshine, and a late afternoon downpour with lightning and thunder.

    As long as I wasn't bombing the trails, the Tundra handled everything I threw at it like a champ. I'm still running the stock tires and suspension. There were a couple hard hits when I didn't see how deep a rut or drop-off were, but no evidence of any damage. I'm looking forward to upgrading the suspension soon.
