    Pro suspension, sways

    I went this direction exactly.
I ordered my Platinum with the PRO suspension and put the full @Coachbuilder1 ensemble on... bumper spacers, front shims, drop bearing, steering rods, and +3 shackles to get the room for 34-35" tires. Mine are Mickey Thompson tires and wheels 275/65/20 -20x9 +~20 offset. This yeilded a 34.3" X 11.25" mounted setup. I have zero rubbing. At some point I'll will be moving up to a 35" with the CMC. I have the plates from Total Chaos ready to go when these tires wear a little bit more.

I'd say go for 35's to start, you'll definitely like it better than the OEM pizza cutters for sure.

This direction keeps your PRO parts in the game! ... and you can always go bigger later. I love my Coachbulder PRO setup! With the TRD front and rear sways this thing handles phenomenal.

With any lift I think just my opinion always try to go more tire then wheel. A friend of mine has a tundra set up just like mine but he is on 22" wheels and I'm on 18" I feel my ride has alot more cushion. Just a little side note.

    I run ko2 35x12.5 and haven’t needed any chop.

Coachbuilders pro kit, 1.25” spider trax spacers, removed the front mud flaps, heated the front fender liner and pushed them in. Winner winner.

You paid about 10k for mostly the suspension, your salesman should have explained all the differences before you bought it. There's no power upgrades to the PRO so the SR5 that it's based on would have felt the same. You can probably get 2k for the wheels and tires though.

I'll never understand this either. Pay that much extra, for the end product, of a stamped bed and seats with TRD pro stitched in them. Should just buy a SR5.

    Attention negative Nancy's.........
I didnt want a base model sr5. I just didnt. I liked what i bought. Al of this could of should of sh*t is annoying and doesn't help any at all. Id like bigger tires. Id like to retain most of my ride quality but still lift it some. If you can add something positive and helpful to the conversation, great! If you "just dont understand why anyone would try to do what im asking help with trying to do", then move on. Its my money. Ill spend it how i want to.

First thing you have to do is decide on your offset. If you’re ok with your tires being a little tucked in, you can keep your current wheels and go 295/70/18’s (34.5”) and just swap your tires with very little to no cutting at all. If you want to go 35’s, you either need wheel spacers or wheels with a lower offset to get you away from the UCAs. But that’ll require a cab Mount Chop and more trimming. If you want to go up to 37’s, you’ll also need to replace your suspension with at least a 3” lift and adjustable UCAs to move wheels forward and still get a proper alignment, but that’ll require a whole lotta cutting. Anything bigger than that I don’t recommend.

And about buying a pro and replacing all the pro parts. You can sell just your wheels and suspension for about $5k so you’re not even losing that much. Just ignore the haters.

Picking up my 2019 Tundra TRD Pro on Friday :yes:I think I will go with the Ready lift 3" Front Leveling Kit and the 2" Rear Block Kit. Then put the Nitto 285/70/18's on the Stock TRD Rims.

I’m in the same boat you’re in NoBiggie.
Bought a 2016 Pro and I love it for all the same reasons: ride quality, exhaust sound, interior etc.
What I didn’t know is that I’d have challenges lifting the truck if I wanted to go bigger (wheels, tires, altitude). So I basically paid a higher tab for a truck that already has a 2” lift kit. So like you, I have to decide if I want to enhance the existing setup (keep the Bilsteins and ride quality) or if I want to “gut” the whole thing and start from scratch.

Personally I’m going to move forward with the ReadyLIFT ProPlus 2 which will add 2 inches to the current 2 inch lift for a total of 4 inches. I can get 35” tires on this.
ReadyLIFT also has PP4 (6 inches total) and PP6 for (8 inches total). I believe you can get up to 37” tires on the ProPlus6.
Point to consider, I’m not sure if the ReadyLIFT kits are tested on a 2019.

Other options are Coachbuilder and Toytech shackles and shims which I believe will give you about 3-3.5 inches total lift to accommodate 35 inch tires.

    Another consideration is wheel offset.
I want a slightly aggressive stance so looking at some Black Rhino’s with +12 offset. This image is from mjime714 with 35s on 18x9.5 +12 offset.
    3E56C15A-E30E-42F6-9C8B-9F24CD08CE27.jpg

At the end of the day, it’s your ride.
Do whatever the hell you want to it that makes you happy!

    Good luck bro!

I’m picking the Truck up on Tuesday and can upload more pics then, but here are some pics my dealer sent me after the lift was installed. 2020 PRO with a 4” Readylift and +2 Coachbuilder Shackles added to the 3” blocks that come with the Readylift. This lifts the rear a total of 4 1/4” to keep the stock 1” Rake on the PRO. Without the Shackles it would be level.

I'm a BDS fan for sure. On my 2nd Tundra with the 7" lift. 2012 had 35X12.50X20s, my 2016 has 37X13.50X20s. Had to do a slight cut on the body mount behind the tires so they don't rub for the 37" tires; added filler plates to cover those though:
    https://sdhqoffroad.com/products/07-current-toyota-tundra-sdhq-built-body-mount-chop-filler-plates

There is a thread either at TundraTalk or here about the Rough Country lift. Absolutely stay away from it. Search for it and you'll see why (axles breaking (half shafts rather at the CV joints)).

    Here is some good info:

Nice ride! I've been looking at putting the 4'' Readylift on my 2014 Tundra Limited Crewmax (#RDY 69-5475) and 35'' Cooper Discover AT3 XLT's on the stock limited wheels. It's the 4 inch front and 2 inch rear lift.

For me, it's about have a more capable vehicle in my regular travels through the mountains during the winter. What are people's thoughts on the 4'' Readylift?

Thanks for the quick feedback. The 4'' Readylift seems to meet all of my criteria, as I won't be off-roading. The main goal for me is to put 35's on the Tundra and anticipate the weight of a new front + rear bumper with a winch on the front. The person at the local 4Wheelparts store this would be the best route.

I had to add shims to the front bumper to not rub with 35’s

I'll keep that in mind, thank you! I'm pretty set on the 4/2 Readylift for my purposes. I'll talk to the shop about the shims, although the front C4 fab bumper will go on a few months down the road.

I got 295/70r18 ridge grapplers on my stock 2019 pro just had to take the front mud flaps off... looking to upgrade with the @Coachbuilder1 pro kit soon.. only thing is I tow boats, quads, sleds so might have to do some ride rights too with the day star cradles. Don’t like the sag at all. Just gotta see if they work with @Coachbuilder1 airbag shims
