I was at a local dealer ship inquiring about a TRD Pro Grill on my 2018. Parts manager quoted me $1600.00 which included labor, the grill, sensor bracket, painted surround, and recalibration of TSS sensor.
    Sound fair? Lol

What color is your tundra (I can't tell if the one in your pic is silver or cement)? Are you wanting to put the 2019 TRD grill on there? For a dealership that's probably about right but honestly doing it yourself isn't that difficult and could save you a bunch of money.

Do it yourself. The install is super easy... I tend to shy away from these things because I break everything I touch, but it was a breeze.

There is a oem thread by Roman on here. I bought the grille and hood bulge and I think I was just shy of 600 shipped.

:facepalm:Be careful they don't want to "bleed you" to let the "bad humours" out too.

Parts from Roman, install yourself, use the left-over money to upgrade to LED headlights (if you don't have them already).

Let’s look at it as a whole. The price of includes parts, labor and recalibration The recalibration of the sensor is not cheap either. If you went the dealership route, if there’s any issues down the line they would cover it. Where as if you installed it yourself it would not be covered. Now this is coming from someone who had a lemon law buyback because of sensor issues. Those sensor issues are no laughing matter. Completely frustrating process. I believe a sensor, safety harness and recalibration is almost $3000 when I saw the paperwork for my warranty work. For the system to work correctly when they recalibrate they need to recalibrate the camera and the sensor together if they do one or the other you’ll have issues in the future.

This TSS stuff is precisely the reason I bought my 2017. I didn't want anything to do TSS. I have heard way to many horror story's.

After all the top bolts are out, get a long screwdriver and push down on thease (one per side) tabs to release grill.

Shit is that how you're supposed to do it? I've always just pulled on it from the bottom and they pop right out, done it on multiple grills. Guess I'm lucky I didn't break the damned thing!
