Well, here in the first gen section, we dont have 38 gal tanks. Also, my E250 work van only has a 32 gal tank so I'm not sure you have 38. Anyways,

We don't have BP gas where I live so I can't answer that. Ironically though, their offices are across the highway from me.

I've put seafoam in my mower, edger, truck and motorcycle for several years now after a buddy suggested it for the mower.

Regarding my truck. I usually add it to the fuel every 4 months or after my oil change, as a reminder. Mower, edger during winter storage.

Motorcycle, prolly twice a season and over winter.

Years ago - I knew a guy who worked on cars for extra $$ who would put ATF in crankcase and run it for a few minutes, then he would drain everything and change the oil and filter.
First time i watched that, I thought he had too much to drink... and got confused....lol

Not so sure about the gas tank though...

To save money, pour a full bottle in a half tank of gas. For a good scrubbing, pour a full bottle in a quarter tank, then refill the tank half way when you hit the reserve mark.

Wholly off topic...Sea Foam makes for some of the nicest pipes one can find. Sea foam, meerschaum in German, is the mineral sepiolite, often found floating in the Black Sea, hence the name. For several hundred years, and before the availability of quality briar, it was the material of choice for making exquisite hand-carved pipes for tobacco smokers. They are the white pipes one sees should they visit a tobacco shop. They were my favorites back when I smoked a pipe and before my ride on the cigar merry-go-round of years past.

I've heard the only problem with seafoam is it's lack of the detergent PEA

Just follow the label directions...tank size or octane don't matter. Bob's yer uncle!

I have tried a few different products over the years and more recently switched to either Lucas or liqui moly fuel system cleaner. From what I've gathered, many of these products have kerosene. Kerosene will clean stuff up in the engine but it burns hotter. The added heat is a problem over time with repeated use and can cause premature wear.
With that being said, I don't know if seafoam has kerosene and it's something to look into.
