According to Toyota's web site where you build your own truck it shows ALL models have intermittent wipers. Starting with base model SR. Go to their site and click "Compare Models" under Tundra for chart. Is he looking at the upper right steering wheel stalk? Or the manual? Lol

Ooops, my bad. Had surgery this morning and was still under anesthesia , lol

SR's don't have intermittent and it looks like not available.

Hopefully someone will pop in here that knows what they are talking about! :anonymous:

But the SR5's are mostly SR's with convenience packages so it may just be changing the stalk.

I am interested to hear how this ends up. The Tacoma’s are the same way, my buddy got a base model and no intermittent wipers. Blows my mind that that’s where Toyota chose to cut cost.

My SR loooooooooooooong bed didn't have intermittent wiper or fog light stalks.... so I added them. Truck recognizes these and they work fine.

I'm confused about the fact that the SR5 is either gone for every truck except the DC LB or was renamed to the Standard Package...

FYI you shouldn't have to pull steering wheel. There are two screws behind wheel on lower panel (rotate wheel quarter turn one way to access one, turn other way for access to other. ) Then top and bottom pop off.

Like what @gdisarray said, you don't have to pull the steering wheel. I only had the steering wheel pulled to change the switch out to add Fog lights as that could not be done as easy as the wiper switch.
