Damn that looks fun. I used to have a similar set up when I used to play GranTurismo, but that was probably 15 years ago, before online racing. I've kind of been waiting for something like this. Do they have both oval tracks and road courses? And how's the lag? It looks like you need a pretty serious computer and probably really fast internet speed.

I have a lot of money into my setup. It is not required to run though. I do recommend a wheel and a decent computer. I only have 6mb download speed and I run just fine. Grand Turismo was by far my favorite game to play on Play Station. Right now I race at Racesimnation.net. The Sim is called American Stock Car. It is free to download. I used to run IRacing but the expense to never own anything is kind of ridiculous. I don't like the fact that I have to purchase each individual car and track and if I don't pay monthly for the subscription I do not get access to the stuff I had to buy. I have a couple hundred bucks invested in Iracing and can't even use it.

I think I might have to look into this, just not sure I have the space for a full set up. I used to have the steering wheel and pedals built into a racing seat and sat in front of my big screen tv in the middle of my living room. I'd turn on the surround sound and turn off the lights and it was pretty damn realistic. I completed GranTurismo 3 and 4 on that thing. It was all good in my bachelor days, but the wife made me take it all down. :( Damn, I want to do this. If you need a free racing game on your phone, Real Racing 3 is really good. It's a lot better if you have a larger phone though. Thanks Travis.

no prob. If you need any more info let me know. I will try to do a video of my setup tonight. I run League races on Sunday and Monday nights. I do the same turn the lights off and the surround sound up and have a 40" tv 2ft in front of me. lol It is pretty immersive.
