Not sure or nobody posted it yet but plenty of users had them over the Morimoto XB LED fogs

Hey guys! Looking at the part number for the stock LED foglight on page one. Does anyone know if I can use this part number instead
Fog Lights - Black (LED) - Toyota (PT413-42191). Its way cheaper, and I have fog lights already, Just not the LED version. If anyone has tried let me know!

The part you listed (PT413-42191) looks like it may fit, but would have to try to make sure.

Replaced my factory fogs with BDs. No blue clip on mine as far as I could tell, unless it somehow dropped inside and never came out on both sides, which I doubt.

Could I take out the whole fog light housing from the front assembly?

Depends on the model. If the truck includes the “blue clip”, then no it cannot come out from the front without removing the blue clip first.

I would say odds are on No. I have a ‘17 Platinum and it included the blue clips.

FYI, step 14 is all you need to do and you can reach in and change the lights. Remove grill and panels under headlights. That’s it.

Just for people who find this thread, I installed new fog lights on my 2019 SR DC and installed the blue clip. It fastens the bezel to the bumper and prevents removing the light/bezel from the fronts. I am not sure what model year they made the change, but here is what it looks like installed without the light:

My 2015 has it. Saw it when I did the 2018 LED fog light upgrade. I'm pretty certain that all 3rd gens have it. The ones that don't, perhaps the clip fell off or someone forgot to put it back in and the bezel is being held by the fog light screw.

You're right, definitely a knock-off if you look closely at the lenses.

So no additional harness needed? Just plug in the new LED housing and good to go?

For anyone who comes up on this post.

After almost breaking tabs and getting really frustrated I came across this video which shows how to pull the light assembly out the front. Super easy and it took longer to watch the video then it did to take the light out. I replaced mine with the Morimoto XB LED lights and was easy to put back in. Also I didn't have to push out the clip holding the wire.

That bracket that holds the liner on was super brittle on mine. Broke the driver side. And took the passenger side off. Attached THe liner back on with stainless bolts washers and nuts.

I don’t know how some of you guys got it done so quick. It took me two plus hours. Not very complicated but many adjustments had to be made. I used the Baja Designs Sports. My 2020 did not have any of those blue tabs. Additionally I have to pretty much redo everything because the black factory bezel tabs are chewed up and are fairly loose now. Thanks OP for the tutorial because that made life much easier!
