I have never driven a KIA and enjoyed it. But I never drove a Telluride, either.

A major sticking point for me is the FWD biased AWD system with a transverse mounted motor. As much as I love the features the Telluride offers....it may be enough to sway me more towards the Durango R/T. Linear engine with RWD based AWD system.....and a HEMI

Everyone that says these come with a “powertrain” 10/100,000 warranty .Did you ever read the fine print ?its basically none existent warranty.Only covers if “moving and lubricated part fails” inside engine and transmission which is rear. Most problems in modern cars are with electrical because of all the tech.
its not the same as factory bumper to bumper 5/60,000 warranty .

Ok, so maybe doing the Telluride but....the two main contenders are a Durango R/T or a Sequoia. After seeing that I can get a Sequoia Platinum used with low miles and certified for around $43k just like a Durango I’m interested. The issue is my wife has never driven one and it’s definitely larger than a Durango. I don’t know if she’ll be 100% comfortable with it. My truck is a bit large for her, but she can drive it without a ton of issue. Thoughts?

Sequoia handles much easier than the tundra. We own both. My wife doesn’t like driving my truck, so if yours handles the tundra fine, the sequoia will be easy for her.

We ended up going with a Durango R/T.....love it!

As a former auto appraiser, I’ll never own a Kia or Hyundai. I’m sure they’re much better than 20 years ago, but the stigma is set for me.
