Souther Style off road is running a group buy for the slim line bumper for 4runners.
I'm buying the wife one and I am looking at getting one for my pro. Does anyone know if the bull will interfere with the 19 Adaptive cruise control.
I called SSO and they weren't 100% sure.
The highest point on the bull doesn't reach the bottom of the grill.

I can get one without the bull but I think the bull makes this thing look badass.

I asked and they said No. Not enough tundra sales is whats SSO told me.

However since I purchased my wife's bumper I get can refer you as a friend and get you $100 off any product over $598.00

I wonder what their number for “enough” would be. If they want 20-25 people for a group buy, and that many would pony up, would they consider it?

    I’d definitely be in.

Caught wind of this on the Black Friday thread. No need for a group buy:

Looking at the lighting options on the bumper, I think I'm gonna go with the 30" Baja Designs light bar. SSO's description of the 30" Baja bar is confusing, though. It says "20" LED light bar" in several spots and the specs are off from what Baja's website says.

Baja Designs website says that bar is 19,050 lumens:
    https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/S8-LED-Light-Bars-Product-Page.asp

While SSO's website says it's only 13,560 lumens (wattage/amps is lower, too):
    https://www.southernstyleoffroad.com/product/baja-designs-30-s8-led-light-bar/

SSO is currently closed, else I'd call them. I assume it's not the same exact light bar from the Baja link above. I'd like to know the model # to look up MSRP/specs/etc. If anyone has this one from SSO, or knows otherwise, please post.

Just ordered the SSO Slimline with 30’ light and cut outs! With the Black Friday deal you end up saving around $200!

I’d rather not list. My wife might see it.
Just ordered one with the BD 30" light bar. I really don't need another set of lights on the front but it looks so much better with it. I always thought about going the SDHQ route but they lost my business. Glad it worked to this direction.

It better not move the freaking bumper ends cause I'm barely clearing too. I assumed (hopefully I won't regret that) that it'd keep the bumper ends at OEM location.

Ordered mine two months ago and it just got to the fabrication stage (stage 4 of 11) two days ago. I know they don't build till it's ordered & they got a bunch of sales during Black Friday...but wow it's taking a while. I'm in no hurry anyway so I don't care...still waiting for the Xeon winch price to drop again on Amazon.

I’m in the same boat! Ordered on 11/17... just now in fabrication... then shipping... then Line X...hopefully on by 3/1. I’ve had a few nice bumpers, never waited 4 months! High expectations!

    After 3 months (ordered 11/25), it’s in stage 5 (grinding) of 11.

    11/25 - order placed
12/2 - they ordered the materials
    12/17 - materials rec’d by them
1/29 - went into fabrication (welding)
2/13 - in queue for grinding

Not even halfway through their steps. I knew it was gonna take a while but for crying out loud.

I know this is the style of bumper/winch setup I want...just regretting not calling SSO and Victory ahead of time to see production rates.

Noice! Mine is now in step 6, though not sure for how long, because they didn’t send me an email this time when it hit that step.

What winch did you go with?

Nice. Is it wireless remote? I haven't bought mine yet. Leaning towards the Xeon 12k, but it's pretty expensive. I ordered the bumper w/o access holes so whatever I get has to have wireless remote.

It does have wireless remote...and wired. I ordered my bumper with access holes because I don’t trust wireless stuff in a jam! Always nice to have the backup piece of mind. And...than Xeon is ridiculously priced!

Yeah they are ridiculously priced. I may go with a Smitty. & good point about not having access to it while in a bind. I'm gonna call SSO on Mon & see if it's too late to get the access holes. What's another 4 months at this point...

@Weavin Pro , are you going to install yourself? I had mine installed by a local shop that's on the SSO website as a dealer. Also purchased my winch from them and had them install that. I wasn't overall thrilled with the job they did, but most of that was due to a crappy wiring job they did installing some lights connected to my Switch-Pro.
